Moore, 'Le Jeu des Échecs', engraving, c.1746; a prospect of a Paris boulevard of the Louis XVI period, hand-coloured engraving; a boy with his mother holding grapes, etching and aquatint; 18th Century Welsh School, charcoal kiln view on the River Teivy, hand-coloured aquatint, 22cm x 23cm; and an offset lithograph after an aquatint of an interior scene.Qty: 5The first with notable toning, some damage to the paper in the upper left and minor damage to the figure's face. The second with some mount burn and light foxing. The third with notable toning and foxing, particularly in the upper half. The fourth with notable foxing. The fifth with some damage and repairs to the frame, losses to the black-painted glass slip, notable toning throughout. The sixth with some worm damage.

Slight toning. The paper appears to have been trimmed and later re-mounted to give the impression of a plate mark.

Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778) etching - Ruins of Villa Adriana (Hadrians Villa), the Golden Square, 47cm x 62cm, in glazed frame Somewhat tired condition, it has been cut with little of the margin left. It doesn't appear to be fully laid down although it is possible that the visible staining is from an adhesive behind. A visible crease running down the image through the middle. It is a period image with no edition number. No known provenance.
