The 28cm square Brass dial with silvered chapter ring, date aperture, Roman numerals and inscribed JOHN FOX GRANTHAM over long trunk door and panelled base on bracket feet. The case carved most probably for a farmer in the late 18th Century with Roundels depicting a Cockerel, Owl on a Gate, A Chick and the base with a Reaper having a sickle in his hand and a sheaf of corn under one arm.
