An Important and rare silver-gilt photograph frame, by Omar Ramsden, of triptych form with an arched pediment embellished in relief with crossed arrows and a spear, bearing the motto 'Festina Lente', a pair of hinged doors, with stylised flower and foliage mounts to the clasps the remainder of the doors having a bloomed surface, the interior of the doors with pierced foliate decoration and enclosing a beautifully executed portrait miniature of Dorothy Vaughan Tozer sitting holding her infant granddaughter Janet Elizabeth Tozer, painted in gold with initials 'D.V.T' and dated '1937' and signed by the artist 'V. B-A' and dated 1937, believed to be Violet Brunton, the portrait flanked by a panel engraved with a seascape at sunrise with clouds above, supported on ball feet and a wirework easel stand, engraved on the back 'Dorothy Vaughan Tozer of Mallards Beaulieu 1938' , 19.5cm. high, marked 'OR' with hallmarks for London 1938 and unusually engraved on the underside of base 'Frame designed and made by Omar Ramsden'
