MODERNIST THREE ARMCHAIRS; MID 20TH CENTURY Oak, leather cushioning 82.5cm high, 81.5cm wide, 54cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions to the wood, with some evidence of water damage, in line with age. The leather surfaces with numerous stains, varying in size and intensity, one chair's leather is much lighter overall, and one is darker, in line with wear and use. The vendor's parents were neighbours with Williams in London in the 1960s, and the artist's daughter and the vendor attended kindergarten together. Condition ReportSurface dirt. Scuffs and scratches. The paint is thin in areas. There is a white area in the centre of the work where it appears the thick impasto has been heavily compacted.
