Ader was also one of the pioneers in the sport of cycling in France. An unusual A.L.S., C Ader, to the recto of a vintage postcard depicting Ader making an experimental flight in October 1897 at Satory military camp, n.p., n.d., to a gentleman, in French. Here is the word you are looking for as a young aviation enthusiast... Your vocation will steer your desires towards military aviation and it will be up to you to signal your interest as a defender of the Fatherland´). The name of the recipient has been neatly erased from both the recto and verso, leaving some light, minor staining. About VG

OLD PULTENEY 21 YEAR OLD HIGHLAND SINGLE MALT 46% ABV / 70cl Established in 1826 to satiate the local fishing community’s thirst for the good stuff, Pulteney distillery, in the town of Wick, is home to some unusual stills. Scaled up versions of the kind favoured by smugglers of the era; they sport oversized reflux bulbs that are nearly as big as the still bases. These are combined with purifiers and snaking lyne arms running into worm-tub condensers, resulting in a spirit that is oily and full bodied. In 1995 the distillery was acquired by Inver House, who properly established “Old Pulteney” as a single malt brand. Since then, the brand has gone from strength to strength, and collected several awards and accolades along the way.

Registration – JR 4525Chassis No. – 130963M.O.T. – ExemptOdometer – TBCColloquially named the “Ulster” ‘JR4525’ is officially an Austin Seven Super Sport from 1932. The “Ulster” name was given to the Super Sport and its non-supercharged Sport sibling due to their racing successes on the Ards street racing circuit in Ulster. ‘JR4525’ is a vanishingly rare model with less than 100 supercharged cars thought to have been built. What’s more ‘JR4525’ features its correct and original Cozette No.4 supercharger. ‘JR4525’ has had just four former keepers and has been in the stewardship of its current owner since 2019. It was taken on as an unfinished project at that stage and brought up to standard from there. To underscore its mechanical condition, ‘JR4525’ took part in the Austin Seven Centenary Parade at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in 2022. ‘JR4525’ was piloted by F1 driver Yuki Tsunoda around the iconic Silverstone circuit. An amazing survivor from the heyday of British motorsport.‘JR4525’ features the recognisable and utterly charming aluminium “boat tail” body which remains unpainted but rather in its polished alloy glory. Apart from this distinctive feature the Ulster is notable for its V-shaped entry apertures in lieu of doors and its high mounted external exhaust pipe with delightful perforated fishtail finishing piece. At the front a brass radiator cowl features together with a temperature gauge radiator topper. Other characterful period features include the big, frosted glass external headlamps, leather boot and bonnet straps and alloy framed glass fly screens. The vendor rates the external condition as “excellent.” The focussed cabin is minimally furnished. A pair of black upholstered seats with box pleated backs sit either side of the transmission tunnel. The white on black gauge set extends across the full width of the fascia and a Bakelite, three spoke steering wheel with alloy boss also features. The vendor rates the cabin’s condition as “good.”‘JR4525’s’ mechanical specification was impressive for the times. That Cozette No.4 supercharger really transformed this lightweight car’s performance. Other original mechanical enhancements include an additional water pump and Pheonix crankshaft and rods. This set up is mated to a 3-speed, close ratio sports gearbox and a rear axle with a 4.9:1 ratio. It is thought that this configuration originally endowed this little racer with a top speed approaching 90 mph.In summary:· A supremely rare boat tail Ulster with original Cozette supercharger· Offered in a highly original and beautifully presented condition· Part of the Austin Seven Centenary Parade at Silverstone in 2022
Registration – B789 TBUChassis No. – W0L000022F1053033M.O.T. – ExemptOdometer – 36,200This 1985 Open Monza GSE, offered at No Reserve, is a sleek sliver version of the desirable 1980s executive fastback, which the vendor describes as being in ‘good’ condition throughout. First registered in January 1985, ‘B789TBU’ has paperwork dating right back to 1991 – which include MOTs that confirm the ultra-low odometer reading of just 36,200 miles. The vendor has owned this car for nearly five years, with the previous keeper owning it from 1992 right through to 2020. Overall, it has just six previous keepers. The bulging paperwork file features numerous invoices of work carried out, including a new ECU. ‘B789TBU’ has all the desirable GSE features, including the sonorous 2,969cc straight-six engine driving the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential, plus electric windows, sunroof, digital instrument cluster and cloth-covered Recaro sport seats. The black interior nicely complements the metallic silver exterior. The Opel Monza was introduced in 1977, along with its Vauxhall Royale UK sister car. A sleek executive fastback, it was a well-engineered model designed to compete with the BMW 6 Series and Mercedes-Benz C123 and C124 coupes. The first versions are known as A1; in 1982, the A2 was introduced (there was now no Vauxhall Royale version), featuring a very successful facelift that made the Monza look much more modern. It was more aerodynamic too, providing a great platform for the ultimate Open Monza, the 1983 GSE. This had the range-topping 3.0-litre straight-six engine with Bosch fuel injection, plus a tailgate spoiler, firmer suspension and GSE badging, along with Recaro sports seats, the eye-catching digital dash, Getrag five-speed manual transmission and even a limited-slip differential. · 1985 Opel Monza with just six former keepers· Odometer reads just 36,200 miles· Offered at No Reserve
Registration – P621 AYJChassis No. – JT164ATL000069535M.O.T. – NOOdometer – 80,000To celebrate 25 years of the Toyota Celica, the 25th Anniversary Limited Edition was released in limited numbers. Just 500 were produced with 250 in a silver livery and 250 in black. ‘P621AYJ’ is one of those 250 in silver and is noted as number 214 of 500. It has been in current ownership for around four and a half years and spent the last two of those in a storage barn. Five previous keepers are recorded for ‘P621AYJ’ and MOT records show that just 9,000 miles have been covered in the last 19 years bringing the total to around 80,000 miles. ‘P621AYJ’ was last MOT’d in 2022 at 80,967 miles. ‘P621AYJ’ comes with some service history and its original book pack. A new battery has been fitted and the fuel refreshed with the Celica now reported to be running well. Some recommissioning will most likely be required. The Celica 25th Anniversary was based on the 1.8 ST model but with special alloy wheels, sport bucket seats, air conditioning as standard, a carbon fibre effect front console and a 25th anniversary plaque with a unique serial number. ‘P621AYJ’ also exhibits the body coloured side skirts and prominent boot spoiler of the special edition model. Those special, six double spoke alloy wheels are present and are now pretty rare in themselves. ‘P621AYJ’ also features the special Celica emblazoned front seats associated with this special edition car. These are along with the sleek carbon fibre centre consul and 25th Anniversary plaque. Bodywork, paintwork and interior are all vendor rated as “good.”‘P621AYJ’ represents the sixth generation of Toyota Celica and had inherited the looks of the bigger Supra. Mechanically, the specification remains the same as the 1.8 ST which means the 1.8-litre 7A-FE four cylinder petrol engine is fitted. This was originally rated at around 115PS and in ‘P621AYJ’ this is mated to a five speed manual gearbox. Toyotas of this period are noted for their over-engineered nature and longevity which bodes very well for this 80,000 mile example. In summary:· Coming from two years of barn storage· A rare example of the 25th Anniversary Edition with just 250 ever produced in silver· Presenting in a highly original condition with key special edition features
Registration – YJ63 CYEChassis No. – WBS6C92030DV74225M.O.T. – September 2025Odometer – 63,000When the BMW M6 Gran Coupe was launched in 2012 it vied with the i8 as BMW’s most expensive model. In Gran Coupe mode the M6 is a fire breathing “four door coupe” with unmatched luxury and cachet. ‘YJ63 CYE’ garnishes that already exquisite recipe with a Stage 1 map bringing power up to a mighty 681bhp (readout provided). Offered here with no reserve, ‘YJ63 CYE’ is complete with a full BMW service history, four new tyres and new pads and discs throughout. With around 63,000 miles covered to date ‘YJ63 CYE’s’ exhibits significantly below average use in the hands of five former keepers. Complete with a valid MOT until September 2025, this is your rare chance to own a rang topping BMW with a huge 681bhp on tap. With the M6 Gran Coupe BMW pulled off the seemingly impossible. As Evo noted at its launch in 2012, it looks both sleeker than an M5 and cooler than the M6 Coupe. Praise indeed! ‘YJ63 CYE’ certainly validates that view in its stealthy Singapore Grey metallic livery with carbon fibre roof panel and chunky quad exhausts. Furthermore, ‘YJ63 CYE’ sits purposefully on a set of 20-inch BMW 433M alloys with diamond cut faces and black accents. The sumptuously appointed and fastidiously engineered four seater cabin is finished in Opal White Merino leather with carbon fibre accents. Given this car’s status in the model line up and nearly £100,000 original ticket price, it features every refinement that 2013 could muster. These include four zone climate control, electrically controlled and heated seats with memory function, wide-screen BMW Professional audio and satellite navigation system and heads up display. The vendor reports the paint and bodywork as “good” and the interior as “excellent.”As with all models carrying the revered M-Sport prefix, it is ‘YJ63 CYE’s’ mechanical specification that is likely to set the purists’ hearts a-flutter, however. The heart of this beast is the S63 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 that was shared with the M5. Power is distributed via a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with DRIVELOGIC. The advanced Active M differential shuffles torque across the rear axle to the prioritise the wheel with the most grip. Variable damper control optimises road dynamics in real time. In addition to all that, ‘YJ63 CYE’ enjoys a significant power boost courtesy of that Stage 1 map. No wonder the vendor confirms that “it goes like a rocket” and judges all mechanical systems as “excellent.”
Registration – SC10 UBYChassis No. – ZFA31200000534960M.O.T. – January 2026Odometer – 65,000We are pleased to offer this charming example of everyone’s favourite diminutive hot hatch. ‘SC10UBY’ is a 2010 version of the 133 bhp Fiat Abarth 500 in optimal five speed manual form. Offered with an unusually sound provenance, ‘SC10UBY’ has covered a significantly below average mileage of 65,000 miles in the hands of just five registered keepers to date. The vendor acquired ‘SC10UBY’ in February 2021at around 36,500 miles. Today ‘SC10UBY’ is offered in a fine overall condition, complete with a long MOT until January 2026 and accompanying paperwork to support routine maintenance. All in all, a great example of this perennially popular pocket rocket.‘SC10UBY’ looks superb in its combination of Pearl White paintwork, graduated black Abarth decals on both flanks, chin and boot spoilers and chunky twin, chromed tail pipes. In addition to the decals there are colourful Abarth scorpion motifs to the front, rear and both sides. The 17-inch Abarth alloy wheels help to accentuate ‘SC10UBY’s’ “wheel at each corner” sporting stance. These are centred with more Abarth scorpions and are shod in a matching set of quality Toyo Proxes in a 205/40 configuration. The vendor rates both paint and bodywork as “good.” The cabin continues to showcase ‘SC10UBY’s’ sporting status. The high backed sports seats are deeply bolstered and finished in black fabric with vivid red accents. Other tell tales of this 500’s Abarth origins are the dash mounted boost gauge with integrated gear change indicator, chunky sports leather steering wheel and aluminium clad pedals. The vendor judges the interior condition as “excellent.”‘SC10UBY’ boasts a technical specification to match all the sporting accoutrements, too. Power is provided by a four cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled version of the 1.4-litre Fiat FIRE engine. In original specification this was rated at 133 bhp and offered 152 Ib-ft of torque in “Sport” mode. This is mated to a five speed C510 manual gearbox, lowered sports suspension and accurate electric powered steering. It appears that an uprated Ulter sports silencer and tail pipes has been fitted at some point, too. The engine, transmission and electrics are all vendor rated as “excellent.”In summary:· Very solid provenance with below average mileage and owners· Offering numerous Abarth features and a mechanical specification to match· Complete with a long MOT and accompanying paperwork
Registration – RF04 WCTChassis No. – WBSBL92090JR08922M.O.T. – November 2025Odometer – 140,200‘RF04WCT’ is an example of the third generation of BMW M3 in E46 guise. As if that’s not already tempting enough, this is a widely preferred manual version featuring the six-speed Getrag 420G transmission and is a non-sunroof model to boot. In other words, a real purists’ delight. Clearly the eight keepers to date have appreciated what they had as ‘RF04WCT’ is complete with a fully stamped service book documenting the last service in November 2024. As well as routine maintenance, ‘RF04WCT’ has seemingly wanted for nothing in terms of non-routine works, including a VANOS service, air conditioning re-gas and a re-trimmed steering wheel. This fine E46 M3 in this optimum specification comes with a current MOT valid until November 2025.‘RF04WCT’ further adds to its innate desirability by presenting in the perennially popular BMW Silbergrau, or Silver Grey livery. The exterior of ‘RF04WCT’ remains entirely faithful to the original “less is more” Ulf Weidhase design and is all the better for it. This M3 sits purposefully on its original 67M double spoked alloy wheels with diamond cut faces. These are complete with subtle M-sport badges. The vendor reports that ‘RF04WCT’s’ underside and wheel arches are very solid and free from corrosion. The M3’s cabin is finished in black leather and, again, exhibits a highly desirable level of sought-after originality. Only the Bluetooth head unit and the retrimmed steering wheel are known to be non-original. ‘RF04WCT’s’ paintwork, bodywork and interior are all rated “good” by the vendor.Any M-car’s headline act is always going to dwell under the bonnet, of course, and ‘RF04WCT’ is no exception. The E46 M3 was fitted with the S54 unit which was the ultimate evolution of the hugely admired S50, naturally aspirated straight six engine. Being an M-engine, it features separate throttle bodies for each cylinder and, new for the E46 M3, “drive-by-wire” throttle control. The results speak for themselves. Originally rated at 338 bhp at a dizzyingly high 7,900rpm. This translated into a five second 0-60mph time and a 155mph electronically limited top speed. Hugely impressive in 2004 and still very competitive today. In summary:· A highly sought-after six speed manual, non-sunroof configuration· Offered complete with a fully stamped service book and much supporting paperwork· Maintaining a high degree of originality and a popular colourway
Registration – EP07 DZRChassis No. – JMZNC18F600131720M.O.T. – February 2026Odometer – 71,500The Mazda MX-5, of course, needs no introduction but perhaps the Z-Sport Edition does. This UK only special edition was limited to just 400 units, was based on the top specification 2.0 Sport model and originally sold for £19,995. ‘EP07 DZR’ is one of just 322 models thought to remain and is being offered here with no reserve. ‘EP07 DZR’ has much going for it, too. Just three owners to date and a sensible mileage of 71,500 miles covered. What’s more there is a solid service history recorded and an advisory free MOT in place until February 2026. All in all, this is a rare, limited edition MX-5 with a great provenance and diligent service history. Definitely one for the connoisseur. The Z-Sport Edition started with the UK’s top specification 2.0 Sport model as its basis and was inspired by the Japanese “Blaze” Edition. The Sport already boasted a 6-speed gearbox, Bilstein suspension and a limited slip differential. Externally the Z-Sport added a unique Radiant Ebony Mica livery, clear indicator lenses and a sublime and unique set of 17-inch multi spoke BBS alloy wheels. ‘EP07 DZR’ exhibits all these exterior refinements with the vendor rating both bodywork and paintwork as “good.” The Z-Sport cabin added Stone coloured leather upholstery with heated front seats, alloy pedals and stainless steel MX-5 inscribed scuff plates. This bright and well equipped interior earns an “excellent” rating and also features climate control and a six speaker audio system. The mechanical specification of ‘EP07 DZR’ remains that of the 2.0 Sport model. That consist of the 1,999cc, four cylinder, four valves per cylinder MZR engine producing 160 bhp and 188 NM of torque. In original order that was good for a 130mph plus top speed and 0-60 mph in under eight seconds. The Bilstein suspension and limited slip differential helped ensure that this range topping MX-5 retained the model’s reputation for peerless on road dynamics. In summary:· A limited edition model from just 400 ever made· Offering a range of unique Z-Sport features and attributes· Together with a full service history and ample additional paperwork
Registration – OE12 YHUChassis No. – SBM11AAC3CW000230M.O.T. – February 2026Odometer – 15,979The “McLaren Project Four” or MP4 12C was launched in 2011 but became known as the “12C” from April 2012. ‘OE12YHU’ is a 2012 example of this stunning 200mph plus British supercar with an innovative carbon fibre construction. With just 15,000 warranted miles covered to date together with a full McLaren service history, it is hard to imagine a more desirable example. With just four owners to date and a host of desirable options, including an interior carbon fibre upgrade, ‘OE12YHU’ is complete with a long, advisory free MOT until February 2026. What’s more, ‘OE12YHU’ has never attracted an MOT advisory, further underscoring its optimum mechanical condition. With just 3,400 12C’s ever built and a heritage and history like McLaren behind it, the 12C is an investment that satisfies both head and heart. The McLaren 12C is built around an innovative carbon fibre “MonoCell” which weighs just 75kgs and was deemed so beneficial that McLaren invested £127 million in its development. This is paired with a carbon fibre composite chassis and a 3,798cc V8 rear mounted engine producing a mighty 592 bhp at 7,000 rpm. A sublime specification. ‘OE12YHU’ presents in the desirable and optional Elite exterior colour of Supernova Silver and is notable for its big, air gulping front grill and impressively wide side “gills.” ‘OE12YHU’ squats on the optional, 12% lighter, Light Forged alloy wheels in a 19-inch configuration at the front and 20-inch at the rear. The 12C’s cabin is surprisingly spacious for a supercar, a feat achieved by situating the seats as close to the centre of the car as possible. The cabin exhibits other high cost options including the full leather two tone upholstery in Carbon Black and Saddle Tan. This is accompanied by the Carbon Fibre interior upgrade to switch packs, steering wheel spokes and centre console. The M838T 3.8-litre V8 twin turbocharged, rear mounted engine is a true powerhouse in both literal and metaphorical terms. That mighty power output is accompanied by 443 Ib-ft of torque which is transmitted to the rear wheels via the seven-speed + R Seamless Shift Gearbox (SSG). The dynamics of this supercar are further enhanced by ProActive Chassis Control (PCC) with hydraulic roll control and adaptive damping. Both the highly specified transmission and suspension can be deployed in three distinct modes – Normal, Sport and Track. An open differential further aids the deployment of the huge power and torque. In summary:· A 200mph plus McLaren supercar with just 15,000 warranted miles to date· A full and diligent McLaren service history· Complete with a number of expensive and desirable options both inside and out

Registration – VAR 348SChassis No. – BBATTC23351M.O.T. – ExemptOdometer – 57,000kmFeaturing a host of period styling features, this example of Ford’s Escort MkII 1600 Sport is offered at no reserve. Powered by a straight-four 1.6-litre engine, driving a five-speed manual gearbox, this rear-wheel drive two-door saloon remains a sought-after model, especially with numbers dwindling from its best-seller heyday. Fitted out in left-hand drive, ‘VAR 348S’ has previously been imported from Europe, and is trimmed in black cloth upholstery and black plastic dashboard, including black four-spoke compact steering wheel.Displaying an indicated 57,000 km on the odometer, the Escort is coming out of a private collection, and requires some work, though is described as in running condition by the vendor. They also rate the engine, transmission, and electrics highly, making them as ‘good’, while the bodywork, paint, and interior are considered ‘average’ - all as expected for a car only a few years off its half century.· Offered at no reserve· Imported LHD example· Desirable 1600 Sport modelFord replaced its popular but aging Anglia in 1967 with the Escort, but it didn’t suffer from following in the footsteps of such a successful car. If anything, it quickly made the market its own. Available as either two- or four-door saloon, three-door estate, or van, the Escort was also raced successfully, taking rally and touring car titles, thanks in part to Ford’s continued work with Lotus. The MkII arrived at the start of 1975, with a revised platform and styling, but otherwise familiar. The same front-engine, rear-wheel drive set-up, and newer engines – but remaining straight powerplants – this time with performance models’ units tweaked by Cosworth. Again, it went on to racing and rallying success, and good examples are prized to this day.
Registration – RS63 BBBChassis No. – WUAZZZF27NN900501M.O.T. – September 2025Odometer – 37,600Whilst the Audi RS6 sits at the top of the A6 model lineage, the Carbon Vorsprung is the ultimate offering in the RS6 range. With the “standard” RS6 Avant Carbon Vorsprung already having a retail price today of a shade under £135,000, ‘RS63 BBB’ raises the bar still further with a raft of performance upgrades and valuable extras. These comprise a Stage 2 map, a Milltek de-cat full exhaust system and Wagner performance intercoolers and air intake. The original factory hardware is also included in the sale. These enhancements are reported to take ‘RS63 BBB’s’ power output to over 800bhp and its torque to around 1200 NM. True supercar vanquishing territory! What’s more ‘RS63 BBB’ is a one owner car having covered a mere 37,600 miles to date. An example of the current C8 RS6 model, ‘RS63 BBB’ features the optional Carbon Styling Pack worth many thousands as well as the myriad of standard equipment deemed worthy of the range topping RS6.The C8 version of the Audi A6 arrived in 2019 and remains current today. The RS6 version joined the range, as usual, to become one of the fastest and most capable “cars for all seasons” that it is possible to buy. The RS6 features a 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 feeding power to all four wheels via Audi’s 8-Speed automatic gearbox. In a non-modified form this configuration is good for a sub four second 0-60mph time and an electronically limited top speed of over 170mph. And all this whist carrying a chest of drawers in the back, should you so choose. ‘RS63 BBB,’ of course, benefits from performance enhancements that will improve on those figures still further.‘RS63 BBB’ presents in Daytona Grey matt effect, another expensive option. This combined with the various carbon fibre accoutrements of that Carbon Styling Pack give ‘RS63 BBB’ a mountain of road presence and more than a little brooding menace. A set of Vossen HF2 alloy wheels in anodised bronze are fitted to add the aesthetic shock and awe as well as to the growing list of expensive extras present. The capacious cabin is exquisitely trimmed in black Valcona leather with a honeycomb quilted design and accompanying RS6 embossing. The level of factory equipment included is extensive, of course. Highlights include a panoramic sunroof, heated front and rear seats, adaptive cruise control and power-assisted door closers. There's also RS Sport Suspension Plus with dynamic ride control. Given ‘RS63 BBB’s’ one owner, low mileage provenance all aspects of the car are vendor rated as “excellent.”In summary:· A superb example current Audi RS6 model in range topping Carbon Vorsprung spec.· Further enhanced by way of high-specification, high-value performance upgrades· A single owner car with a very sensible original mileage and model specific registration plate
