[Peter O’Toole] A 1970’s Baume & Mercier Swiss made Riviera quartz watch belonging to the English actor Peter O’Toole (1932-2013) and worn by him on a regular basis. The watch (serial number 1087898) has an off-white dial, stainless steel case and bi-metal steel and gold bracelet, housed in lined and cushioned Baume & Mercier box. It has an unusual feature of missing its bezel, and has been seen worn by the actor on several television appearances including an interview with David Letterman in 1983, and in photos of him when collecting his Honorary Oscar at the 75th Academy Awards with Meryl Streep in 2003. The watch was bequeathed to the actor’s daughter and is sold with a handwritten note of provenance signed by Kate O’Toole on her father's headed stationery and another letter of similar content. [The late actor’s roles included portraying T.E. Lawrence in Lawrence of Arabia (1962), a teacher in Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1969), a film director in The Stunt Man (1980), Zulu Dawn, My Favorite Year, What’s New Pussycat?, The Last Emperor etc. He received four Golden Globes, a BAFTA and Primetime Emmy Award]

Make & Model:Land Rover, Defender 130 Date of Reg:WX55WBE Colour:Green cc:2498 MoT:2025-12-12 Fuel Type:Diesel Mileage:105000 Transmission:manual Summary:This 2005 Land Rover Defender 130 has been turned into an evocation of a Spectre model, as used in the 2015 James Bond film Spectre. It was registered in November 2005 and has had five registered keepers since then. The odometer shows circa 105,000 miles and the MoT is valid until December 2025, The vehicle is reported by the vendor to be running and driving well, with no known issues. Recent work has included a new Ashcroft gearbox, Ashcroft transfer box, brakes and exhaust. It features a 180bhp power upgrade, Recaro seats, Momo steering wheel, handsfree Bluetooth, additional soundproofing and a remote winch. A service has recently been carried out. It was registered in November 1982 and has 145,285 miles showing on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in March 2024, however as an historic vehicle it is now MoT-exempt. The car comes with a period roof rack, front bonnet cover and rear louvre. Both its ‘rat-look’ front wings are lacquered and Waxoyled. The car is reported as running and driving with no issues. Documentation includes the V5C, a stack of bills mainly from the 20th century, some brochures and various MoTs back to 1986.
