A Continental porcelain group 'The Indiscreet Harlequin': after the Meissen original by J.J.Kandler, with Columbine seated on Beltrame's leg in amorous embrace, Harlequin at their feet peeping up Columbine's skirt, Beltrame wearing a puce cap and orange waistcoat, Columbine in black bodice and floral skirt, Harlequin in a black trimmed brown jacket and stripped trousers, on rocky mound base, indistinct blue mark, incised 104/9 9?k, possibly Doccia, 19th century, 16cm high [Columbine's left arm re-stuck and hand lacking, Harlequin's left foot lacking, firing crack to rear].

A rare Italian topographical plate, Naples or Doccia, early 18th century. Well painted with a scene of the ''Sepolchro Famiglia Metella''. Unusually monogrammed ML and dated 1808. The Tomb of the Metella Family on the Via Appia was a well known site on the grand tour. The scene on the plate is taken from a print produced by Domenico Pronti in 1795. The dark tones of the scene suggest a Doccia manufacture. Condition: Major wear to gilding. Some flaking to paint.

Manufacture de Carlo Ginori. XVIIIe siècle, vers 1752-53. (Une fêlure et éclats à la prise du couvercle, le couvercle peut-être en faïence de Milan). HAUT. 13 cm Les armoiries sont celles du cardinal Giovanni Francesco Stoppani qui revêtit la pourpre en 1753. Dans une lettre datée de 1752, Giovanni Francesco Stoppani rappelle à Carlo Ginori qu`il lui a fait parvenir un dessin de ses armoiries ; ceci sans doute en vue de l`élaboration du service. Une autre lettre de décembre 1753 mentionne la livraison du service. La cafetière de ce service est conservée au Victoria and Albert Museum de Londres et reproduite par Arthur Lane, Italian Porcelain, pl. 48. Le pot à lait est reproduit par L. Ginori Lisci, La Porcellana di Doccia, fig. 19, un gobelet et soucoupe est illustré par G. Morazzoni et S. Levy, Le Porcellane Italiane, pl. 177a, deux gobelets sont passés en vente publique en 1974 (Christie`s, Londres, 4 décembre 1978) et un autre gobelet en 2005 (Christie`s, Milan, 5 décembre 2005, lot 617).
A rare Doccia sugar box and cover c. 1755, unusually decorated in the Meissen style with cartouche vignettes of laub und bandwerk. Restoration to finial but otherwise in excellent condition. Small collection of Capodimonte style porcelain, probably Doccia and comprising: a pair of two handled cups and saucers, one having a cover, a single handled cup and saucer and a baluster shaped vase and cover, 15.5cm high, all having typical classical decoration in relief and marked with a crowned N The two handled cup and cover - the finial has had the head re-glued and the arms re-glued. A rare and early Doccia blue and white knife handle, c.1750, the handle of faceted form with a curved terminal, decorated a stampino or a stampa with flower sprays, 21.8cm overall, the handle 8.5cm.The a stampino designs at Doccia were developed during the factory`s first period and are believed to have been developed using real flowers which were copied as cut-outs for the copper plates.
