Garnham of Cliffe, Lewes, and one other 19th Century salt glazed spirit flask in the form of an oval coopered barrel with label to one end, incised "West, Drury Lane", 5.5ins x 3.75ins (base chipped), and with wooden tap for same
19th CENTURY; a pair of watercolours, one depicting a boy in Eastern costume wearing a turban, buttoned tunic and cloak, resting upon the draped sill of an arched window, a rifle at his side, the other boy in 17th century costume, wearing a slashed doublet and frilled collar, a feather in his wide-brimmed hat, poised to play a flute, unsigned, contemporary printed labels to reverse, The Property of Tregonwell Monro 1878, 8 1/2in x 7 1/4in and 7 5/8in x 6 3/8in respectively, the latter with gilt slip, contained within matching ornate gilt gesso moulded frames.
A large and impressive pair of Chelsea masqueraders, modelled as a lady and gentleman in Turkish dress. He wears a puce turban, yellow cloak and floral pink jacket, she with an ermine lined cloak, green headdress and a gold and iron-red dress, each raised on a gilded scrolling base applied with flowers, gold anchor marks, c.1760, 32. 5cm. A pair of Derby figures of a boy and girl in Turkish costume, in a pale yellow cloak or pink long coat and floretted waistcoat or open robe, on green sprigged gilt scrolling mound, 10cm h, William Duesbury & Co, patch marks, c1780. Male - extended forefinger of the right hand slightly chipped, but in unusually fine condition with no restoration. Female figure - unsightly firing blemish and loss with consequent crack to the thinnest part of the edge of the coat and some similar discoloration to the long drooping sleeve but as the painting matches these figures seem always to have been a pair. In overall fine condition as a pair, with no restoration
