La poignee de transport en cuir est presente, mais fortement usee. Les crochets de fermeture du couvercle sont fonctionnels. Manivelle complete et fonctionnelle. Interieur disposant de sa peinture kaki d origine. Marquages sous le couvercle Special Services US Army. Haut parleur present. Toutes les pieces mobiles sont presentes. Disque I Ve Got you under my skin. Tourne disque retrouve dans le grenier du cafe Warland a Ondenval en 1993. Ondenval est un village de la commune belge de Waimes situe en Region wallonne dans la province de Liege. La commune de Waimes fut occupee par les troupes americaines en repos a partir de septembre 1944 avant d etre la proie de tres violents combats lors de la bataille des Ardennes. A noter une certaine usure et patine de la piece. Etat II+. US turntable from Ondenval. Beautiful wooden case with metal reinforcements. The khaki paint is likely applied later. US marking on the lid, probably post-war. The leather carrying handle is present but heavily worn. The lid closure hooks are functional. The crank is complete and works. The interior retains its original khaki paint. Marked under the lid, Special Services US Army. Speaker present. All moving parts are intact. Record included, ,I ve Got You Under My Skin., The turntable was found in the attic of the Warland Cafe in Ondenval in 1993. Ondenval is a village in the Belgian municipality of Waimes, located in the Walloon Region of Liege province. The municipality of Waimes was occupied by American troops on rest from September 1944 before it became the site of fierce combat during the Battle of the Ardennes. Notable wear and patina on the piece. Condition II+.

Imposing 1.8m in length. Two large motors fitted to each bogie. Steel chassis with wood and fibreglass body shell. Two 12v batteries plus separate battery for the speaker, lights, 4QD Electric motor control, Mtronics digiSound 602. Control unit finished in co-ordinated livery. Excellent paintwork and fine detailing, with cab driver. Project completed in 2023 and locomotive active until recent times.
