The photographs depict topographical views and landscapes as well as natives/customs/culture. There is a 'Panorama of Papeete Harbour' in Tahiti made up of three separate photographs; whole-length portraits of 'Fijian warriors'; 'Fijian girls'; 'fish-spearing';'drying vanilla'; carrying wild bananas'; 'group of Fijians dressed for dancing';'rehearsing war'; 'Fijians with clubs'. Several photographs are dated 1902, and there is an image of the Cook monument at Point Venus (which was built in 1901). The larger photographs measure 24cm x 18.5cm, the smaller ones 16.5cm. Two captions without images, and some blank leaves to rear of album, oblong quarto, half-leather binding (worn) with gilt initials to upper board (T.B.C.T),, upper board detached.
