A Della Robbia gourd shaped vase, decorated with ships against a blue ground, incised marks to base. Height 27 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The vase has two small glaze nibbles to the top rim. The rim has also had a repair. There has been a break and a 2 cm section of the lip has been pieced back in and overpainted. It looks as if the break has been in several pieces at this point. The repair is effective but visible on inspection. The remainder of the vase is in good order with no issues.
