Registration – P621 AYJChassis No. – JT164ATL000069535M.O.T. – NOOdometer – 80,000To celebrate 25 years of the Toyota Celica, the 25th Anniversary Limited Edition was released in limited numbers. Just 500 were produced with 250 in a silver livery and 250 in black. ‘P621AYJ’ is one of those 250 in silver and is noted as number 214 of 500. It has been in current ownership for around four and a half years and spent the last two of those in a storage barn. Five previous keepers are recorded for ‘P621AYJ’ and MOT records show that just 9,000 miles have been covered in the last 19 years bringing the total to around 80,000 miles. ‘P621AYJ’ was last MOT’d in 2022 at 80,967 miles. ‘P621AYJ’ comes with some service history and its original book pack. A new battery has been fitted and the fuel refreshed with the Celica now reported to be running well. Some recommissioning will most likely be required. The Celica 25th Anniversary was based on the 1.8 ST model but with special alloy wheels, sport bucket seats, air conditioning as standard, a carbon fibre effect front console and a 25th anniversary plaque with a unique serial number. ‘P621AYJ’ also exhibits the body coloured side skirts and prominent boot spoiler of the special edition model. Those special, six double spoke alloy wheels are present and are now pretty rare in themselves. ‘P621AYJ’ also features the special Celica emblazoned front seats associated with this special edition car. These are along with the sleek carbon fibre centre consul and 25th Anniversary plaque. Bodywork, paintwork and interior are all vendor rated as “good.”‘P621AYJ’ represents the sixth generation of Toyota Celica and had inherited the looks of the bigger Supra. Mechanically, the specification remains the same as the 1.8 ST which means the 1.8-litre 7A-FE four cylinder petrol engine is fitted. This was originally rated at around 115PS and in ‘P621AYJ’ this is mated to a five speed manual gearbox. Toyotas of this period are noted for their over-engineered nature and longevity which bodes very well for this 80,000 mile example. In summary:· Coming from two years of barn storage· A rare example of the 25th Anniversary Edition with just 250 ever produced in silver· Presenting in a highly original condition with key special edition features

Registration – D12 UMRChassis No. – RNN14020148M.O.T. – NOOdometer – 119,000The Nisan Pulsar GTI-R was a homologation version of the N14 Pulsar as required to enter the World Rally Championship under Group A rules. ‘D12 UMR’ is a very rare example of this Nissan rally car for the road. ‘D12 UMR’ was imported to the UK in 2001 after having been originally supplied to the Japanese domestic market. It comes to us from a period of long term ownership of around 15 years with only around 2,000 miles or so covered during that time. It has benefitted from recent restoration including some diligent welding work but has been parked up since and doesn’t currently hold an MOT. It was last MOT’d in 2022 at 119,733 miles. The vendor reports that it starts and drives but will require some recommissioning due to a sticking brake and a general lack of recent use. A rare example of an increasingly sought after JDM homologation hero. The Nissan Pulsar GTI-R, sold as the Sunny in Europe, is notable for some dramatic looking additions. These include the impressive, vented bonnet bulge which makes way for the large intercooler, and a prominent, lift reducing rear spoiler. ‘D12 UMR’ also features a set of 17-inch, Team Dynamics alloys finished in gold, perfectly complementing the black paintwork. The paintwork and bodywork are judged as “good.” The cabin of ‘D12 UMR’ is a period delight being finished in tones of black and grey. Some hints to the performance status of this Pulsar are the deeply bolstered front seats and the trio of additional gauges in the centre console. Overall, however, it benefits from the same eminent practicality as the humbler Pulsar / Sunny models. The interior condition is rated as “good.”Of course, the Pulsar GTI-R’s technical specification is far from humble for the time. An SR20DET, four cylinder, four-valve DOHC, turbocharged and intercooled,1,998cc engine was used. This was originally rated at 230PS and 284NM of torque. With a kerb weight of around 1200kgs this gave the Pulsar some impressive road dynamics. Permanent four wheel drive controlled by the “ATTESA" system ensured maximum traction was afforded in all conditions. ‘D12 UMR’ features a tubular manifold and an aftermarket air filter and exhaust system. All mechanical aspects of ‘D12 UMR’ are rated as “good.”In summary:· A rare example of this Nissan road going rally car· Offered in a good overall condition from a period of long term ownership· Has been previously restored to include professional welding work

Registration - KUJ 95JChassis No. - 127/278M.O.T. - ExemptOdometer - 35,105Featuring a design that has aged very gracefully, this Jensen FF is presented in pale blue, and is a well known model in Jensen circles. Offered at no reserve, ‘KUJ 96J’ is fitted with the 6.3-litre Chrysler-sourced V8 that was used across the Interceptor range at the time. This FF is driven by a three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, with power going to all four wheels, and ‘KUJ 95J’ is beautifully presented in period-correct colour scheme, with a black vinyl roof, and red leather interior. This features a classic three-spoke sports steering wheel, contrasting black dashboard and centre console, matching red door cards, and 2+2 interior.‘KUJ 95J’ is believed to have been first owned by automotive parts specialists GKN, as a test mule for them to analyse the model’s famous four-wheel drive system. Displaying only 35,105 miles on the odometer, this particular model’s recognised history suggests this is genuine, though of course this cannot be warranted. The current owner, just the fourth keeper in almost 54 years of the Jensen being on the road, has held the keys for more than 18 years, and suggests that this FF could benefit from some cosmetic improvements, but is otherwise generally well presented. The bodywork is described by them as ‘average’ though the paint and interior are reckoned ‘good’. After a period of storage within a private collection this Jensen FF arrived with us not running, Hampson's can now report after some fresh fuel its now running and the engine sounds seemlessly strong, we would of course recommend a degree of further inspection and a possible service.Offered at no reserveWell presented example of Jensen’s four-wheel drive GTRecognised model in Jensen circles with known historyJensen launched the Interceptor in 1966 as its touring model, hand-built at its West Bromwich factory, and resurrecting the Interceptor badge after an interval of almost a decade. Powered by a 6.3-litre Chrysler V8, with either a manual or automatic transmission, the Interceptor was designed by Carrozzeria Touring in Italy, with early models built by another Italian coach-builder - Vignale - before Jensen brought everything in house later on. The FF was the first non all-terrain production car to feature four-wheel drive, and the first to have an anti-lock braking system too. The badge’s ‘FF’ represented ‘Ferguson Formula’, named after Ferguson Research, which was the firm that developed the four-wheel drive system. Although visually similar to the Interceptor, the FF is actually longer, and mechanically quite different, to incorporate the all-wheel drive set-up. Jensen built a little over 300 FF models from 1966 until production ceased in 1971.

Registration – VBY 356EChassis No. – MS67FB070710TWM.O.T. – ExemptOdometer – 5,088‘VBY356E’ may look surprisingly familiar to either film buffs or dyed in the wool Arsenal supporters. That’s because ‘VBY356E’ is an officially sanctioned “Gone in Sixty Seconds” “Eleanor” recreation and was owned for close to 10 years by one Thierry Henry. ‘VBY356E’ was built in 2009 by Classic Recreations of Flower Mound, Texas using an original 1967 Ford Mustang shell. ‘VBY356E’ was painstakingly hand built with over 2,500 craftsman hours expended in its creation. ‘VBY356E’ possesses the all important official sanction of the “Gone in Sixty Seconds” producer, Denise Haliki as well as featuring her Sharpie inscribed signature on the dashboard. With Thierry Henry owning ‘VBY356E’ between 2010 and 2019, the current keeper has enjoyed this remarkable car for around five years. ‘VBY356E’ drives impressively and sounds incredible as can be witnessed in the recent “Iain Tyrrell’s Classic Workshop” YouTube video. Iain describes the experience as “visceral” with a huge grin never leaving his face. Those unfamiliar with the year 2000 “Gone in Sixty Seconds” film starring Nicolas Cage may need a formal introduction to “Eleanor.” The film’s plot revolves around 48 cars that need to be stolen to order within 48 hours. The last, most elusive car being a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 named “Eleanor.” In the film “Eleanor” was specially modified by legendary American customiser, Chip Foose. Such was the popularity of the film, and the 1974 original, that “Eleanor” recreations became sought after with only the best receiving the official “Gone in Sixty Seconds” license. ‘VBY356E’ is a very faithful recreation of the film car, officially named in the credits. ‘VBY356E’ features the full “Eleanor” body kit, DuPont Pepper Grey livery with black Le Mans stripes as well as the low mounted twin driving lamps. The originality even extends to a Nitrous Oxide tank in the boot (not operational) which mimics the one in the film which was deployed by a “go baby, go” button. The sublime interior is finished in black vinyl with Scat front seats, roll bar and five point racing harnesses. The dash and centre console are finished in brushed aluminium and a wooden rimmed steering wheel is fitted. A contemporary Kenwood sound system is fitted with subwoofer and supplemental amplifiers.‘VBY356E’ is by no means all show and no go, either, as Iain Tyrrell soon found. This “Eleanor” is fitted with a 302 cubic inch, small block Ford V8 compete with AFR cylinder heads, a dual plane inlet manifold and a 600 CFM Holley carburettor. A racing Canton oil pan with internal baffles is fitted as is a full serpentine belt system with aluminium pulleys. This combination is thought to deliver around 350 – 400 bhp through a five-speed manual gearbox. An aluminium radiator with twin electric cooler fans, side exit exhaust system and adjustable shock absorbers are also present. The current vendor rates mechanical and aesthetic aspects of ‘VBY356E’ as “excellent” with only the interior being rated as “good.” What better way to walk in the well-heeled footsteps of both Thierry Henry and Nicolas Cage than putting this superb official “Eleanor” evocation on your drive? In summary:· A rare, officially licensed “Gone in Sixty Seconds” “Eleanor” evocation· Formally owned by legendary striker Thierry Henry· Providing a “visceral” driving experience accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack

This must be one of the finest examples of the marque we have offered recently and is realistically estimated at a fraction of its original sale price of £82,135.61. Consigned by Dominic Lake. This rare example is finished in British Racing Green with an Oatmeal leather interior. It was formerly fitted with a 3.8S engine but now has a 4.2 XK engine and an XJS Getrag five-speed manual gearbox. It was previously owned, restored, and substantially upgraded by an ex-Jaguar service manager over the last 24 years. Fitted and upgraded with electronic power steering, electronic ignition and a refurbished modern leather interior. Its last owner had the car since 1999 and there have only been three former keepers. It is equipped with HIF carbs, manual choke, electronic ignition, alternator, hi-torque starter motor, stainless steel exhaust, alloy radiator and electric heater pump. It is also fitted with electronic power steering with adjustable assistance, limited slip differential, uprated suspension and was subject to a bare metal respray some years ago. The interior was refurbished in Oatmeal leather, with modern front seats and custom console. Other works included four inertia reel seatbelts, suede roof lining, LED interior and dash lights, refurbished Walnut dash with integral cupholders, instruments, electronic speedo, voltmeter, tacho and clock. It has a wooden steering wheel, Vicma door mirrors, USB sockets, Cibie headlamps and Pioneer four speaker DAB stereo with hands free capability. The present owner recently took the car to Julian Ferraro Jaguar in Salisbury and had the engine and gearbox removed owing to a head gasket which had gone. They transferred ancillaries to a replacement 4.2 litre XJ6 engine which was said to have done 46,000 miles. Amongst certain works a replacement steering box and steering idlers were fitted, aluminium radiator repaired, engine and gearbox refitted, refit engine, new clutch kit, tuned and road tested. A receipt is available showing the cost of this work at £6,500. The vendor says it has transformed the car which is now ready for the road again. The owner then sourced some new steel wheels, tyres and hub caps plus chrome wheel trims. We are told the speedometer is currently not working but the vendor is going to endeavour to rectify this prior to auction. This is a handsome luxury British saloon which after recent mechanical works, is now ready to be fully enjoyed.
