Each with seal mark, painted with a cluster of five flowerheads reserved on a ground of small flowerheads, the border with flowersprays and cell pattern, 25cm diam. (2) Overall of good decorative appearance, some slight glaze scratching overall. Minute footrim chipping to one.
THREE CHINESE PORCELAIN BLUE AND WHITE GINGER JARS, KANGXI (1661-1722) AND LATER. Comprising: a small oviform jar painted with lotus and interlocking scrolls, within wave and ruyi pattern borders, 12cm high, and two jars in sizes, painted with flowering prunus on blue ground, one with a quatrefoil panel of precious objects, the largest 23.5cm high, applied with Penang Customs export seal (3) All three jars are lacking their covers. The smallest jar with lotus and scrolls - ok, with minor footrim chip. Smallest jar with prunus - small rim chip and starcrack to base. Some further stained crazing and wear to glaze. Largest jar - overall in good order, there is some minor wear to glaze.
A QUANTITY OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN ITEMS, 20TH CENTURY. To include sixteen bowls of three graduating sizes; six saucers; five small sauce dishes; Together with five spoons. Decorated with insects, butterflies and floral sprays. Each with 'ya wan zhen cang' seal mark to base in blue enamel, translating to 'Delicate Collectable Precious Treasure'. Largest bowl 12.5cm diam. (32) All items in good overall condition with no signs of damage or repair.

The first depicting a figure in a boat on a lake in mountainous landscape, one with a peony and butterfly and another with red flowers and a butterfly, each signed with black character and with red seal mark, the first 30.5cm x 19cm, the floral paintings approx. 18cm x 21cm (3) Overall in good decorative order, some minor creasing to the silk, which is pale brown in tone, very minor discolouration to landscape painting and minor wear overall.

The first probably Ming Dynasty, with honeycomb pattern and stylised flowerheads to the broad rim, the deep well and exterior with stylised foliate ornament, 15.7cm diam., a bowl with stylised scrolls, leaves and fruits within spiralling borders, of Tek-Sing cargo type, 16.5cm diam. and five bowls in sizes painted with lotus and flowerheads and scrolling foliage, each with seal marks to base16.8cm diam. (7) The deep bowl with honeycomb pattern with some overall glaze crazing and pitting. One of the bowls with flowerheads and foliage with very short hairline crack to rim, another with very small rim chip, some wear overall.

Carved in low relief with Shou emblems and previous objects amongst scrolls, with swing handle, and pewter spout, cover and shoulder, underside and cover stamped with seal marks, 12.7cm high Small dent to shoulder, the liner is slightly misshapen, overall some minor wear otherwise ok.

TWO CHINESE LATE MING DYNASTY PORCELAIN BLUE AND WHITE OVIFORM JARS AND A BOWL. Comprising: two oviform jars in sizes, painted with flowerheads and scroll work, 24cm high max., the bowl decorated with two bands of Shou characters, the interior with seal mark, within double concentric bands, 25.5cm diam. diam. (3) Both vases with some typical glaze crazing and wear overall, some minor chipping to rims, some of which is below the glaze and occurred during the making. The bowl with some typical extensive stained crazing, hairline cracks and glaze faults overall, small chip/loss to glaze to interior just below rim.

Owned by the same family for over six decades.
A Chinese porcelain clair de lune bottle vase, of square section with tapering neck and stylized dragon handles. Six character Yongzheng seal mark to base, and possibly of the period (1723 - 1735), 27cm high. Provenance: The John and Margaret Rankine Collection. Accompanied by a copy of the purchase receipt from Spink and Son Ltd. 31st January 1959, when described at that time as a square porcelain tapering vase to the foot and the neck with two openwork dragon handles, the whole covered with a pale lavender glaze. Young-Cheng, 1722-1755 with a purchase price of £60 and noted that there was an insurance policy taken out for the period of the 5th January 1959 to the 4th January 1960 at the price of one guinea.
