A set of 18th century Caughley cup and saucer and a 19th century ironstone gilt blue and white bowl. The lot comprising a Caughley blue and white cup and saucer decorated with landscape, pagoda, trees and bridges to exterior, gilt rim and foliage scrolling along the rim in the well, along with a matching design saucer. Further, a 19th century English ironstone blue and white bowl decorated with houses and landscape with gilt rim to exterior, foliate scrolling and gold decoration along the rim and a floral motif in the centre. Largest measures approx. 8.5cm tall x 16cm diameter.

A Caughley blue and white mask jug, c.1770, printed with the Three Flowers pattern, and a Lowestoft-style mug, decorated with a bird amongst foliage, the base inscribed 'Abm Moore August 29th 1765', 18.2cm max. (2)Cf. British Museum, Accession No. 1887,0307,XI.7 for a genuine example, and 1957,0403.1 for a modern forgery. The genuine Lowestoft mugs were made in varying sizes, although it is not known who Abraham Moore was.
