A Victorian tea set of raised floral decoration and the cups with butterfly handles, to include: double spouted tea pot, 16 cm, two cups, two saucers, sugar bowl and tea pot. Saucers with backstamps and sugar bowl possibly impressed Moore (?), (7). The Alastair & Sheila Brooks Collection: of Oaklands (& past owners of Ednam House Hotel), Kelso All the items have general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. There are some more major issues listed below. The teapot has a considerable amount of damage, repairs, and losses, such as repairs and losses to the lid, losses to the spout, and hairline cracks to base and rim, and pitting. The two spouted pot has had a repair made to the top handle which has been completely off at some point. There is also some pitting. The cups appear in good condition with possibly minor nibbles to the wings. One of the saucers has a firing crack. The sugar bowl appears in good condition.
A gilt and floral decorated part tea service with cups, saucers, bowls, a Wedgewood part tea set, also a set of six Cauldon dinner plates retailed by Osler Designers London, 26.5cm, (A Lot). The Alastair & Sheila Brooks Collection: of Oaklands (& past owners of Ednam House Hotel), Kelso Please note due to the size of the lot I could only briefly look at all the items. The teapot has lost it spout, though it is still present and appears to be a fairly clean break. One of the Wedgewood saucers is cracked. One of the Cauldron plates may have been repaired to the rim. Otherwise the lot appears to be in good condition with only general wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
