A rare Welsh porcelain tazza, attributed to Nantgarwcirca 1818-20probably London-decorated, the edge with raised flowers and the interior painted with three purple passionfruit and two sprays of flowers, raised on a thickly moulded circular spreading foot, unmarked,9cm and 4cm highNotes: For a very similar tazza, see Anthemion Auction's lot 340 on 22nd November 2017. Although the lot description describes that tazza as 'Swansea', there are currently no known definitive examples by Swansea of this shape. A number of factors lead to a probable Nantgarw attribution - such as the high quality, finely translucent quality of the porcelain and the thickly moulded foot which is a common feature. This particular shape is also only rarely found manufactured by English porcelain factories.There is a Y-shaped hairline crack visible to the underside of the bowl and several areas of small chips/losses to the flower petals and tips of leaves. The gilding is generally good, with just one small patch of rubbing to the foot rim. No further damages or repairs.

A Swansea documentary creamware jug painted with floral decoration and inscribed 'Eliz'th Thomas, Cardigan, 1819', together with an English porcelain punch jug, richly decorated with flowers and gilt, circa 1820. Two small hairline cracks, wear to glazing around foot. Saucer - small grazing flaw to the centre but no obvious damage.There are no makers marks.

ROUND SWANSEA PORCELAIN PLAQUE with river scene with figures punting and buildings by William Weston Young, old frame with hanging loop, 18cms diam Provenance: collection of Gwyneth and the late Ieuan Evans, Powys, handwritten note from 1966 on back of frame that there is a Swansea trident mark, pencil inscription dating from 1931 attributing the painting to Weston Young Auctioneer's Note: roundels such as these were believed to have been intended as the centre of plates and dishes Comments: old circular frame, probably 1930s, painting reasonably fresh, slight scuff to edge

A pair of Continental porcelain leaf shaped pickle dishes, early 20th c, 11.5cm l, spurious SWANSEA mark, a Staffordshire sheep, a Meissen model of a canary on a stump, 20th c and miscellaneous other porcelain models of birds and figures and a 19th c surface agate style teapot with pewter lid Meissen bird - bill restored, leaf chipped. Most of the other items in good condition
