A 20th Century full sized 4/4 violin musical instrument with bird's eye maple one piece back. The violin having ebony fingerboard, chin rest and fine tuning pegs. Label inside ' Antonius Stradivarius Cremonen fls Faciebat Anno 1911 '. Accompanied by three bows, one stamped P&H London. All held within carry case. Violin measuring approximately 59cm long.
A late 19th century German violin, bearing a Stradivarius label, dated 1717, with mother of pearl inlaid tailpiece, in a walnut case and with bow, the bow stamped Vuillaume & Paris. Condition - fair The tailpiece is loose and there is some scuffing, rubbing and general wear all over. Some of the MOP inlay is missing.Bow is generally good with light signs of use.The hinge on the case is broken.

Two Stradivarius-style mahogany violins, late 19th/early 20th century, of typical form, one with a two-piece back, the tailpiece inlaid with mother of pearl, labelled 'Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1734', in a corduroy lined case with a single bow, the other with a one-piece back, labelled 'Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1696', in a faux crocodile case with two bows, the case labelled internally 'Edward Withers 22 Wardour Street, Phone City 1899, London, W'Condition ReportBoth need re-stringing and servicing. The bows are all frayed. The 1734 example has rubbing and wear to the finish. The 1696 example has knocks and losses to the lid and remnants of a label on the base.
THIBAUD JACQUES: (1880-1953) French Violinist. Thibaud died in an airplane crash. His 1709 Stradivarius disappeared with him. A fine and large signed and inscribed 9.5 x 12.5 photograph, the Alban studio photograph from Paris showing Thibaud in a head and shoulders pose. Signed and inscribed in bold green ink to an attractive clear area of the image, also dated 7th December 1932 in his hand. VG
