A large and impressive porcelain 'Neptune' clock, after Meissen, the second half of the 19th century, the balloon-shaped case with flowering basket finial, mythical figures, applied flowers and pierced diapers, on scrolled feet, bearing cross sword and dot device to the reverse of the case, 42 cm wide x 71 cm overall height, together with a pair of Sitzendorf porcelain figural candelabra, each with four sconces, 46 cm overall height.Qty: 3Petals and some flowers are missing throughout. Some floral areas may have been restored in the past. Neptune's trident missing. Some adjustment required to the dial and movement, cracking to the enamel dial obscured by the bezel frame. Adjustment required to close the glazed back panel for the movement. Clock not running at the time of inspection.Sitzendorf candelabra are associated. Some chips to the petals and leaves, and slight rubbing to the gilding. Some restoration and re-gilding evident to the bottom stem on one.
A large Dresden porcelain vase and cover, decorated with encrusted flowers and twin putti, 20th century, 48 cm high, together with another similar, by Sitzendorf, 34 cm.Dresden Vaser and CoverThe cover on the larger vase has one of the three flower finials missing and some slight chips to the petals and foliage.The body is intact and the handles are OK the flower petals and foliage do have some slight chipping and loss as are expected with this kind of encrusted ware, the putti are intact without chips or cracks, and the base is OK, and there are no cracks emanating from the fixing bolt.Smaller Vase & CoverThe cover is intact and shows surprisingly little chips to the flowers and foliage.The body is intact and similarly shows very little in the way of damage to the petals and foliage the handles are OK and so are the cherubs.The base is OK and is looted on with slip clay from original manufacture rather than bolted through as with its larger Dresden companion.
