Kojima [both 400 metres freestyle], the three members of the Japanese women's diving team signed to verso of this album leaf, R. Osawa, M. Osawa, and F. Kono, two other autographs of unidentified athletes, S. Matsumura and N. Matsuzawa, plus one further album leaf with autographs of the managers (?), Mrs H. Shirayama and R. Akima, a total of 13 names on three sheets, all but Akima's name signed in English and Japanese, each album leaf approx. 11 x 13 cm. Hideko Maehata was the only women's medal winner from the Japanese delegation at the Berlin Olympics in 1936. She had won the silver medal for the same event in 1932 Olympics. (3)

OMEGA-a gentlemans steel cased Seamaster Chrono-Quartz wrist watch, circa mid 1970s, made in conjunction with the 1976 Montreal Olympics. The rectangular face with black dial displaying both analogical and digital time. Fitted with an integral tapered bar link steel bracelet with deployment clasp. Marked to the back with the Seamaster and Olympic logos. Case width 46.9mm.
A pair of Whitefriars crested decanters and stoppers James Powell & Sons, London, circa 1905 each tapering form finely engraved with the initial W below a coronet for the 2nd Duke of Westminster, below a slender neck and everted rim, over a collar and wide circular foot, the tall spiral-twisted stopper with ball finial 35cm., 13.75in. Hugh Richard Arthur Grosvenor, 2nd Duke of Westminster, GCVO DSO (familiarly "Bendor") (1879-1953) succeeded his grandfather as Duke of Westminster in 1899 and lived at Eaton Hall, Cheshire. He served in the Second Boer War until 1901, as an ADC to Lord Roberts and Lord Milner. He subsequently invested in land in South Africa and Rhodesia. In 1908, he competed in the London Olympics as a motorboat racer for England. His first marriage, to Constance Edwina Cornwallis-West, on 16th February 1901 ended in divorce in 1919. They had three children. The Duke led a colourful life taking many lovers, including Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. The Duke died in 1953, aged 74 and his titles passed to his cousin, William Grosvenor.

BROWNING 12-BORE 'TRAP 3' CUSTOM GRADE SINGLE TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER EJECTOR, serial no. 34205S1, 30in. nitro barrels with wide matt ventilated rib, two piece fore-end, 2 3/4in. chambers, action deeply carved with flowing acanthus, a gold-inlaid with a boar's head and a ram, signed by the engravers A. Watrin & Vandersmisseng, 14 1/2in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock inset with a gold plaque engraved "Offeit a Mr Carrega Champion du Monde 1970 Phoenix", wood insert by comb, weight 8lbs. 11oz. It is believed that the above gun was presented by Browning to him on his successful win at Phoenix on becoming The World Trap Champion. This and the following lot belonged to the Late Michael Carrega, the four times Trap Shooting Champion of the World and the Silver Medallist in the 1972 Munich Olympics.
