Ca. AD 100 - 300.A beautiful group of three petite, free-blown glass unguentaria from the Roman period in yellow-green and white glass. The one on the left is a little jar with a pear-shaped on a flat base and a short body connected to a large flat rim. The middle one is an unguentarium with pear-shaped body in opaque glass with a long neck and folded rim. Last is a fragment in a green glass of a circular form. All three vessels have developed attractive rainbow iridescence across their surfaces. Ca. AD 200 - 400. A set of glass artefacts, including two bases of glass vessels, likely the bottoms of a bottle or jar, a small candlestick unguentarium with a long, slender neck and a body that flares towards the base, two annular bracelets or bangles - one black with white decoration and another translucent with a delicately twisted design, and a cobalt-blue piriform vessel. Xuande period, Ming Dynasty, Ca. AD 1426-1435.An outstanding blue and white jar featuring a gently tapered globular body decorated with floral designs, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship of the era. Machang phase, Ca. 2300-2000 BC.A painted pottery jar. The globular body has a narrow neck rising to a flared rim, with a tapering lower body and two handles placed on each side. Painted with geometric patterns using dark pigments against a red-coloured background, leaving the lower half bare. The Machang phase is a later period in Majiayao culture, in which notable decorative motifs include geometric and curvilinear patterns. The finish is not as careful as in previous periods but displays the close relationship between nature, rituals and daily life. A Pair of Georgian Glass Decanters and Stoppers, the part fluted bodies with cut bands, the necks with two ring bands, 21cm high and a silver topped cut glass dressing table jar, hallmarked for Birmingham 1901, 7cm high. (5)Size approximately 17.5cm high without stopper and approximately 27cm diameter, stoppers both flush and appear to be original. Decanters both with light surface scratches to base, stoppers with chip the other with crack and imperfection within glass. Jar appears in good condition.
