Two Imari Blue and White Dishes, late 17th century, the first with a central roundel painted with two cranes above a minogame in swirling waters, brown-edged rim, the reverse with scrolling karakusa, Fuku mark to the reverse; the second with the central roundel of camellia sprays within a blue band moulded with a waterwheel, breakwaters and waves, 21.9 and 21.2cm.; 8 5/8 and 8 3/8in.
A Rare Imari Ewer, circa 1680, with European Silver-Gilt Mounts, early 18th century, decorated in underglaze-blue with ho-o birds in flight amongst peony flower sprays and scrolling foliage, the loop handle with karakusa and flower heads, the slightly domed cover similarly decorated above a narrow band of cash motif to the neck, the spout in the form of bamboo, European silver-gilt mounts, 21cm.; 8.25in.
