A Pair of George II Silver Wine or Decanter-Labels, by Sandilands Drinkwater, London, Circa 1750 each cartouche-shaped and with suspension chain, each later engraved, one for 'Dumbarton' and one for 'London Gin'55mm wide, 14dwt, 21gr (2)Each marked on the reverse with maker's mark and lion passant. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear. Each has been later engraved over the original engraving which has been flooded and which is partly visible on each.
