Mouline’, each with a hound, the well figured walnut half stock with blued steel foliate engraved fore-end tip, shaped side plate, trigger guard with finger rest, and foliate rosette engraved swollen butt cap set within a border carved with lapet leaf tips and with finely chequered grip, with steel ramrod, 37cm, in a mahogany cutlery type case, the inner lid set with a brass label engraved “Faure” Le Page, Paris, the green baize lined base fitted with accessories including copper pistol flask, steel bullet mould, ebonised cleaning rod, ebony handled turnkey and nipple key, cap tin and oil flask.Each pistol action works, holds at full and half cock. Minor bruising to stock. One with a repair and split to the left side leading up from the side plate.

A Pair of 19th Century 28 Bore Percussion Duelling Pistols by Riviere, London, each with 23cm octagonal browned twist barrel signed to the top flat and with London proof marks to the underside, with platinum lines and nipple plug, blued foliate engraved double scroll dolphin hammer, signed lock plate engraved with a sunburst and leaf tips, with slide safety, well figured walnut half stock with horn fore-end tip, steel trigger guard engraved with a martial trophy, with a finger rest and pineapple finial, the bag butt with finely chequered grip, with horn tipped wood ramrod, 38cm, in a mahogany case, the hinged cover with inset brass ring handle, opening to reveal a green baize lined interior fitted with accessories including a copper pistol flask, a combined cleaning rod/wad punch, ebony handled turnscrew and nipple key, oil flask, cap tin and brass bullet mould by Trulock & Harris, Dublin.Each pistol with working action, holding at full and half cock. Minor bruising to the stock, with small nicks to extremities of barrel. Case with a split to the hinged cover.
