(2) Condition Report: There is enamel damage above and below the right-hand wing and a small amount below the left-hand wing. Small enamel loss by the hinge and general surface scratches. The heart shaped compact has minor dents.

A copy of the original invoice is available with this lot Condition Report: Overall there are some scratches, marks, chips, cracks and abrasions consistent with age and use.There are some losses and restorations: there is some small use of coloured filler; there is a join to the central upper section of cornice; the doors slightly mis-align; some patch repairs; the locks, escutcheons and handles are later, there are three keys; the interior drawer does not fit snugly and has different drawer lining suggesting that it could be later.Some cracks including to the sides and panelled fronts along the grain of the timber.One of the locks with interior monogram IB.There is some evidence of old worm.
