A Compton and Woodhouse The Golden Treasure of Tutankhamun chess set, with cast metal pieces modelled as Egyptian figures, housed in a gilt framed box with marble chess board to the top. King height (Tutankhamun) 11 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chessboard itself is in extremely good order as is the wooden outer frame. All chess pieces appear to be in good condition also and have clearly seen little use. Both kings have both scepters present but they are loose rather than fixed in position.
