A Victorian Gothic Revival brass mounted mahogany and ebony tea caddy - the rectangular caddy on a moulded ebony platform base, with brass strapwork mounts, escutcheon and cartouche to the lid, cross banded in a dark hardwood veneer and with ebony edges, with turned brass handles to the sides, the interior lined with walnut veneer and walnut lids (one lid handle missing). (LWH 25.2 x 14 x 15.25cm)* In good condition. It has been sympathetically restored at some stage and the exterior remains in very good condition. The interior lacks one lid handle and the foil lining has losses.
