A mid century art studio copper worked sculpture by local artist Peter Broadhurst depicting an emaciated man measuring 115cm tall by 60 cm wide approx

An intriguing knife. The Victorian knife with a horn handle and silver mounted base and collar having the attached steel blade leading to a point, together with a small size leather bag with a red leather interior. The bag with the knife inside was discovered while coalmen delivering coal to a home in the 1940's found it buried in the coal chute of a house in Broadhurst Gardens Hampstead. The property this knife and bag had been discovered in the same road in which Jack the Ripper Suspect Walter Sickert lived, the knife and bag feature in the Trevor Marriott book Jack the Ripper, 'The real truth', In a separate book it is stated that a close female friend of Sickert Marjorie Lilly recalled an incident in 1918 where Sickert in her presence went and produced a Gladstone bag from the basement of his home.

An interesting Victorian Golf putter, by Wilson of St Andrews, with bronze head and hickory shaft, stamped by the maker and inscribed: 'Presented to H. Broadhurst M.P. by Mr. J.M. Barrie, June 1890', 94cm long Henry Broadhurst M.P. was a Labour Politician and also instrumental in the founding of Royal Cromer Golf Club in 1888. Among the early member were many Royals and members of the Aristocracy, also authors including Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and James Matthew Barrie, author of Peter Pan. This is presumably where the two met and perhaps where this golf club was presented.In used condition with various minor dents and scratches to the head, the inscription readable, the makers mark worn. the leather grip worn, especially at the top.

A collection of five items of original 1977 Star Wars artwork, created for Letraset, who 20th Century Fox officially licensed to produce stationery merchandise in the UK. The artwork was created for Letraset by Hunt and Broadhurst Ltd of Limited (Oxford), for a range of stationery items, and included here is an R2-D2 notebook (21 cm x 33.5 cm), a Chewbacca exercise book (16.5 cm x 23.3 cm), a C-3PO and R2-D2 writing pad (20 cm x 16 cm), a Princess Leia jotter pad (19 cm x 14 cm) and a large Star Wars scrapbook, (37 cm x 48 cm). Each is housed in an original proof folder, with covering (and annotated) protective paper, one with a signed and dated 'Artwork Approval' stamp verso. The insert cards have been removed and mounted with the covers. This series of flown covers illustrates the principal honours, decorations and campaign medals which have been awarded to members of the Royal Flying Corps, Royal Air Force and Royal Air Force Regiment, the Royal Naval Air Service and the Fleet Air Arm. Each cover which measures a large 32cm x 23cm carries the signatures of seven airmen, whose gallantry or leadership in the service of their country, has been recognised by the award shown.
