An oak and mahogany crossbanded and inlaid bureau, 19th century, in George III style, the bevelled fall-front centred by a boxwood and harewood conch shell motif within fan bracket and chequer strung borders, enclosing a conforming conche shell inlaid cupboard door and short drawer, flanked by letter slides, pigeon holes and short drawers above four long graduated drawers with gilt brass swing handles and raised on shaped bracket feet, sides cracked, 42" wide, 21" deep, 43" high
