At Halls Fine Art, we believe the world is a better place with beautiful objects in it. We strive to provide the best possible service to help sellers and buyers achieve the ideal result, and give a new home to quality fine art and antiques.

Halls were established in 1845 as Hall, Wateridge and Owen in the Shropshire Country town of Shrewsbury. Quickly establishing a reputation as the premier regional firm of estate agents, chartered surveyors and auctioneers, Halls became integral to the fabric of the West Midlands, building lasting relationships and trust which remains very much a part of our company philosophy today. The fine art department grew to become nationally recognised during the 1980s and 90s under the leadership of the late Richard Allen. The team grew in numbers and strength of expertise with particular focus on vernacular furniture, works of art and early English ceramics.  Today, though, Halls also specialises in jewellery, silver, militaria, Asian art, books, pictures and modern art.

With two major events every month, we have an active and dynamic calendar to cater to diverse interests for collectors, enthusiasts and connoisseurs in the UK and overseas. All auctions are streamed live with online bidding encouraged alongside traditional ‘in the room’ bidding. The Fine Art specialists attend regular valuation days at Battlefield and selected venues in the UK, welcoming new consignments for our series of specialist auctions, bringing them to a global marketplace. With industry experience dating back to the 19th Century, we pride ourselves on being a team to trust for buyers and sellers alike.
