A mahogany longcase clock, second quarter 19th century, the brokem scroll pediment above an arched glazed door flanked by turned mirrored baluster columns enclosing a 13" white painted enamel dial with roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture and gilt painted flowers in the corners and eagle in the arch with the Latin motto 'Tempus fugit', eight day movement striking on a bell above a crossbanded frieze and shaped top crossbanded three quarter length trunk door flanked by canted half baluster columns over a cushion moulding and crossbanded base board and on bracket feet, some damage and restoration, 90" high
