Mellon, partially printed and accomplished in manuscript, 1 p, oblong 4to, n.p., April 10, 1890, two holes punched at lower center, matted and framed. Provenance: Private Collection, Beverly Hills, California. Andrew Mellon made his fortune in banking and investing in large corporations like Alcoa, Westinghouse, and the Pittsburgh Coal Company. The Pittsburgh, Virginia and Charleston Railroad was chartered by the Pennsylvania Assembly to connect Pittsburgh to Waynesburg and create a bypass around existing Pittsburgh railway congestion.
