German Musketeer's Powder Flask, probably Nuremberg, c. 1580-1600. Triangular with concave sides, the wood body covered with green velvet on the front and canvas on the sides and back, iron fittings at the edges and corners, oval medallion in the center with brass rosette, iron spout with original cap secured with a brass chain and spring closure, belt hook on the back and four small suspension loops on the sides.
