Helena Bonham Carter (as Princess Margaret): A brushstroke design dress Season 3, Episode 2,'Margaretology' Custom-made sleeveless below-the-knee cream dress with pink, peach and red brushstroke design, with deep V-back and a bow, and a pair of pale pink heels with diamanté buckle by Paradox London (2) Footnotes: As worn in the LA hotel courtyard party scene where Helena Bonham-Carter (as Princess Margaret) smokes a cigar and enjoys being the centre of attention. Meanwhile Ben Daniels (as Tony Armstrong-Jones, Earl of Snowdon) seems unimpressed by her behaviour and their company. In November 1965, Princess Margaret and her then-husband the Earl of Snowdon, toured the United States to promote the release of his book. While on tour, a dinner at the White House was arranged in the royal couple's honour, so this was added to their itinerary. The dinner, hosted by President Lyndon B. Johnson (1908 - 1973) and First Lady Claudia Alta 'Lady Bird' Johnson (1912 - 2007), was hailed as a great success.
