Original vintage World War Two poster - News in Pictures / Nieuws in Beeld - Weekly Edition of the Allied Information Service, featuring photographs captioned - On May 7, 1945, the unconditional surrender of all German troops was signed in Reims. On the left were the German delegates, on the right were the representatives of the land, naval and air forces from Great Britain, France and Russia; General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Forces, in his office at the Allied Headquarters in Reims, is going to show the world victory in Europe. Pictured Right Air Marshal Sir Arthur Tedder; Berlin May 2, 1945 A long column of prisoners passes under the Brandenburg Gate. their dreams of victory are gone, the goose march is forgotten, a single Russian tank monitors their progress through the ruins of the German capital; the last voyage of a German submarine. With the black flag flying, the submarine sails under the escort of a Liberator, which moors her in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. discovered, to the Scottish port where the boat will be seized; the liberation of Denmark - soon after the liberation, an RAF pilot and photographer landed near the Danish town of Tonder.
