Designed 1932, this model 1227 is an early two-stepped base version, and dates from the pre-war or early post-war period, c.1938-48.
Steel. Original factory mottled paint finish, chromed metal fittings, felt to underside of base. Original Bakelite bulb fitting/switch. Renewed period-look wiring.
Moulded manufacturer’s mark to lower stand
