Designed 1966, produced in New York in 1966 by Jackson China Company for Durable Dish Co., retailed by Leo Castelli Gallery.
Glazed ceramic.
Each piece stamped with maker's mark and artist's signature to underside Jackson China for Durable Dish Co. by Roy Lichtenstein (signature) © 1966
Largest Diam. 26 cm.
Provenance: Purchased by the current owner in the late 1970s from Michael Abrams, son of the NYC art publishing company owner Harry N Abrams (Abrams Books) who bought up the remains of the production in the 70s.
This set is in excellent condition and has clearly never been used. There are no damages to report.
