A William de Morgan ‘Galleon ship’ plate, Fulham period (1888-1898), decorated by Charles Passenger, painted in colours with a galleon ship and fish on high seas, the reverse with concentric bands around the inscribed mark ‘WDM FULHAM’ and artist’s monogram ‘CP’, 25cm diameter Natural crackle throughout the glaze, one small rim chip at 2 o'clock otherwise very good.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. A pair of William De Morgan Persian designed tiles, painted with a floral design in turquoise, green and other colours on a white ground. Both with impressed Sands End marks to the reverse, 15cms square. (2). *CR One tile, chips along the right edge of the tile with some glaze loss, general crazing, small chip to the top left corner, mark a little indistinct on the reverse. The other, general crazing, small chip to bottom right corner.
