Registration No: LVC 359V Chassis No: TCN150135UCF MOT: ExemptCurrent ownership since 1995Understood to have been a test vehicle for Pirelli tyresRare Triumph TR8 Coupe converted to RHD in 1983Extensive restoration works completed by S+S Preperations in 1989Supplied with BMIHT Certificate and fitted with replacement 3.9 litre engine which is upratedTR8 Coupes, based upon the original Harris Mann TR7 design, made from 1978 to 1980 are quite rare; it is estimated that only about 400 (from records kept by members of the North America-based Triumph Wedge Owners Association) genuine TR8 Coupes ever existed let alone survive today or are here in the UK, as many went stateside. Add to the roughly 150 pre-production Coupes mentioned above, another 250 or so Coupes were produced, some sold in Canada as 1979 models but most ended up being held back and then finally sold in the US as 1980 models. In 1979, a long-anticipated Michelotti-refreshed TR7 Drophead (convertible) was introduced, and almost all subsequent production TR8s were convertibles. Worldwide production, as best as can be determined, throughout all the labour turmoil at the time, is only around 2750, give or take "a handful". (Enthusiast Richard Connew went through the records at British Motor Heritage Industry Trust and counted 2746.). The TR8 was due to be launched in the UK and a pilot production run was made consisting of four prototypes and 18 pre-production cars. At this point, British Leyland unexpectedly cancelled the project. The pre-production cars were subsequently sold via the dealer network to the public and are highly collectable. Both the TR7 and TR8 were built until October 1981 when production ceased. Very few genuine TR8s exist outside the United States and Canada. One of just 400 TR8 Coupes built by Triumph on 3rd April 1979 to North American specification (left-hand drive). Never shipped to the USA, it was registered as a test vehicle on 23rd April 1980 (the registration containing ‘VC’ synonymous with other BL factory development cars). Subsequently sold to Pirelli on 28th April 1980, it was used for tyre testing in Italy. Following its working life, the TR8 was sent to Paul Haywood Motors for a right-hand drive conversion with ‘LVC’ being sold on 20th October 1983 to a Mr S J Lloyd of Baldock, Hertfordshire, before being sold to a David Smallridge of Milton Keynes, on 12th June 1988.Mr Smallbridge organised a full body restoration, with the colour change from Blue to Red. ‘LVC’ was also fitted with a 3.9 litre engine, big valve heads, Piper cam, lifters and Holley carburetor, LSD plus brake and suspension parts etc. With work carried out by S & S Preparations in Lancashire (receipts on file), the intention was to use ‘LVC’ in club race meetings. Purchased by the present owner on 25th August 1995, it has since been garaged and used for attending car events, but not used in motorsport competition. Supplied with a BMIHT Certificate, workshop manual, collection of invoices plus a receipt for £8587.35 by S+S Preparations and a current V5C. Grantland Rice writes in the forward "The start of Bobby Jones' career to date is one of the most interesting episodes in all sport, one of the most unusual of all careers. The story of Bobby Jones is truth that is stranger and far more interesting than fiction, a saga of youth that could only be sung in the modern game." Registration - MV63WRFChassis No. - ZFFTJ65C000197651M.O.T. - March 2025Odometer - 5,400This is an exceptional opportunity for a Ferrari enthusiast or collector to acquire – at No Reserve - a particularly fine 2013 Ferrari California F1 with a Ferrari main dealer service history and less than 5,500 miles on the clock – a figure which is backed up by the service history and MOT records. Supplied new by Stratstone Ferrari in Wilmslow, Cheshire, the car has been regularly serviced by them throughout its life, as the stamped service book with the latest stamp at 4,821 miles shows. The vendor, who is only the second owner of this stunning car, describes all aspects of ‘MW63 WRF’, from the 4.3-litre, 490bhp V8 engine, seven-speed semi-automatic transmission and electrics (including the retractable metal roof) to the paintwork, bodywork and interior as ‘excellent’, and we can see nothing to dispute that claim. The California has covered fewer than 1,500 miles in the past three years. The enviable technological specification includes adaptive front light system, dual mode MagneRide suspension, electrochromic exterior and interior rear-view mirrors, front parking sensors and a tyre temperature and pressure monitoring system. The ‘immaculate’ interior of this 2+2 convertible boasts Ferrari’s optional carbon fibre driver zone and centre console trim, ‘Daytona’ black leather front seats with embroidered Cavallino emblem to the headrests, Giallo tachometer dial face and ‘Daytona’ Alcantra insert panels. Externally the 20” aluminium wheels feature Giallo Modena brake callipers, while the Rosso Corsa paintwork is enhanced with Scuderia Ferrari shields. This highly desirable machine comes with two keys, full Ferrari book pack and toolkit and an MOT to 16 March 2025. Ferraris with such a desirable provenance and warranted low mileage are very rare indeed – and ones offered at No Reserve are even harder to find, and eminently collectable as a result.Announced in 2008 at the Paris Motor Show, the California was viewed as a highly useable Ferrari – an accolade which underlines how easy the model is to live with. With a 0-62mph time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 193mph, it was that most unexpected of beasts, with a circa £150,000-£200,000 price tag depending on factory options ticked. And buyers responded speedily – a three-year waiting list built up almost immediately. The naturally-aspirated California ushered in a number of ‘firsts’ – the first convertible with a retractable metal roof, Ferrari’s first front-engined V8-powered car and the first direct-injection power unit, and the first to sport a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Ferrari brought in the Limited Edition California 30 from 2012-2014. The name was derived from the fact that this new variant was 30hp more powerful and 30kg lighter than the original model. California 30 production ended in 2017 and was replaced by the California T.In summary:A beautifully presented example, with less than 5,500 warranted miles from newSupplied new and maintained by Stratstone Ferrari, WilmslowExceptional opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alikePlease, the private registration shown in the photographs is not included in the sale.
Registration - EX24 GRUChassis No. - SCFRLFFW3RGL13207M.O.T. - N/AOdometer - 365Bold and brilliant in Cosmos Orange, this example of Aston Martin’s DB12 coupe comes with a plethora of desirable options added. Powered by a 680hp 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, ‘EX24 GRU’ sees that power put through an eight-speed automatic gearbox to the rear wheels. Superbly specified, this DB12’s translucent paint is complemented by black accents across the exterior – kitted out by careful picking of Aston Martin’s black packs – including badging, detail panels, vents, wing mirrors, smoked tail-lights and 21-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the theme continues, though in reverse. Trimmed in black leather with orange stitching, the sports seats are upholstered in quilted, ventilated leather, and the centre console and door cards see the same diamond motif used. Factory fitted equipment includes a heated multi-function sports steering wheel with gear shift paddles, digital instrument panel, large touchscreen system, dynamic adjustment controls, and electric seats. The vendor is the only owner from new – unsurprising for such a new car – though more surprising is that the warranted mileage is just 365 miles; this DB12 is not even run in. As such, it includes the remainder of the one year Tracker subscription, as well as the rest of the three-year tyre and alloy refurbishment plan, covering up to five tyres and ten refurbishments. Protected with a Gtechniq ceramic coating, the quality of the paintwork has added ongoing security, though naturally, considering the mileage, it is considered ‘excellent’ by the vendor. The engine, transmission, electrics, bodywork, and interior are all rated the same, as ‘EX24 GRU’ was ordered in June 2023, and registered in March 2024.Exceptional specification for a desirable Grand TourerIncredibly low, warranted, mileageLarge number of options addedAston Martin’s DB12 launched in 2023, replacing the DB11 as the Gaydon-based firm’s Grand Tourer. Available in coupe or Volante convertible form, both are powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, sourced from Mercedes-AMG as part of the latter’s part-ownership of Aston Martin. Likewise, all models use an eight-speed automatic transmission, which includes an electronic rear differential, while a stiffer bonded aluminium structure and revised dampers have all contributed to Aston Martin branding the DB12 as a ‘Super Tourer’ – something backed up by the supercar rivalling performance figures of a 202mph top speed and 3.5 seconds 0-62mph sprint time.
Registration - P719 JCHChassis No. - WAPB332T07ZE40062M.O.T. - May 2025Odometer - 104,000This 1997 Alpina B3 Touring is a car for real enthusiasts – this one particularly so, as it reputedly one of just five right-hand drive cars remaining. Resplendent in Alpina Blue, with the famous Alpina multi-spoke alloy wheels, it is a rare Touring model that the vendor has owned since May 2018; it has four former keepers. It really has had no expense spared since they purchased it, with expenditure of more than £7,000 in parts and £9,500 in garage bills. Work includes full brakes, suspension and steering renewal, a repair of any corrosion, and an interior refurbishment “to a high standard”. The interior is described as now being in “excellent” condition, to complement “good” bodywork and paintwork. The car also has refurbished alloys and two new rear tyres. The odometer reads 104,000 miles. ‘P719JCH’ has a full BMW service history up to 2018, and has been serviced since then according to the dashboard service lights. The vendor describes the 3,152cc straight-six engine, and automatic transmission, as being in “good” condition. The history includes “virtually all the receipts of work ever done over the past 20 years” plus a full list of all the parts that have been renewed. It also comes with all the original owner’s manuals and other related books – and a full spec sheet of when the car was new. Adding further reassurance, there are two ignition keys and a collection of lock and wheel nut keys – along with the jack, toolkit, spare wheel and tyre. It has an MOT valid until May 2025. The iconic Alpina B3 are high-performance cars produced by German specialist manufacturer Alpine, based on the BMW 3 Series. The series was first introduced with the E30 BMW 3 Series in 1987, with the Alpina B3 2.7. In 1993, the E36-derived B3 3.0 arrived, with the E46 B3 3.3 arriving in 1999, and the E90 B3 Biturbo in 2007. The B3 Biturbo has continued through F30 fifth-generation and G20 sixth-generation models, giving it a rich lineage and lots of desirability within Alpina circles. In summary:Rare BMW E36 Alpina B3 Touring – one of five right-hand drive cars remainingSignificant expenditure since May 2018Extensive history from an enthusiastic ownership

Roman Imperatorial Coinage, The Caesarians, Julius Caesar, Denarius, Military mint moving with Caesar in Africa, 47-6 BC, diademed head of Venus right, her hair rolled back and tied into a knot, rev. caesar downwards right of Aeneas nude walking left, holding the Palladium in right hand, carrying his father Anchises on left shoulder, 3.63g/6h (Ghey 272.2, this coin; Craw. 458/1; BMCRR East 31-5; RSC 12; Sear 55). Bankers marks, and struck slightly off-centre, otherwise good fine £150-£200 --- Provenance: SF 112 Similar to Caesar’s ‘elephant’ coinage, this type was minted in a vast quantity, representing again his conquests over the Pompeians. However this type, rather than focusing on the battle between ‘good’ and ‘evil’, represents Caesar’s ancestry and the gens Julia. Caesar claimed to be a descendant of Julus, the son of Aeneas and founder of Alba Longa. He henceforth elected to have depicted on this type Aeneas carrying his aged father, Anchises, on his shoulders after the sacking and capture of Troy by the Greeks. In addition, Aeneas and Dido, the princess of Tyre and foundress of the Phoenician colony of Carthage, had a relationship, thus making this artistic choice even more appropriate by drawing focus back onto the African campaign.

A rare ACP Aero Caravan Products streamlined aluminium trailer - early 1950s, restored and repainted in silver in the past 10 years, recently fitted with a new galvanised steel dolly wheel to the towbar, with hinged lid, spare tyre and original manufacturer's rivetted plates to left side of the interior, 122cm wide, 152cm long, 103cm high. * This trailer has been owned by the same family since new in the late 1940s / very early 1950s. Originally used behind a coachbuilt Bentley with 12 seat wood framed 'estate' style bodywork (see photo of the Bentley and trailer on a school tour of the English Lakes and Scotland from 24th July to 11th August 1951), it was later regularly used for UK and Continental trips with a Ford Zephyr through the 1960s. It was restored in the past 10 years from use once again with a more modern BMW, when it proved just as useful, with capacious luggage capacity and dry, secure storage during trips at home and abroad.
The Ford Capri was manufactured from 1969 through to 1986. It was designed by American, Philip T. Clark, who was famous for being one of the main designers of the Ford Mustang. Using the mechanical components from the Cortina and intended as the European equivalent of the Mustang for the European markets, the Capri went on to be a highly successful car for Ford and sold nearly 1.9 million units in its lifetime. A wide variety of engines were used in the Capri, throughout its production lifespan, which most notably included the Essex and Cologne V6 engines at the top of the range, whilst the Kent straight-four and Pinto engines were used in lower specification models. Although the Capri was not officially replaced by any Ford model, the second-generation Probe was effectively its replacement after the later car's introduction to the European market in 1992.This wonderful slice of 80’s nostalgia was first registered on 2nd January 1981, finished in white with the iconic decals with contrasting Recaro seats trimmed in Carla fabric with Savannah fabric surrounds and fishnet headrests, which we believe were only available on the S model. Privately owned and cherished, this example has had recent inlet manifold and rocker cover gaskets, the carburettor stripped and overhauled, new HT leads and electronic distributor as part of a recommissioning for this summer. Much of the car is wonderfully original despite having benefitted from a repaint some 10 years ago. Features such as original spare wheel and even tyre can be found inspecting the body, which is very good. The V5 shows just four previous keepers and with the odometer displaying just 63,000 miles, this is a desirable example that should hold values well.
