Pat Cash – Signed 1987 Wimbledon Champion photo- This superb item of signed Tennis Memorabilia is a stunning 16” by 20” original colour press photograph that is personally signed by the former Wimbledon Champion, Pat Cash. The photo shows the moment Pat lifted the trophy after winning the 1987 Championship, which was the crowning moment of his career. Having already beaten Mats Wilander in the quarter-finals and Jimmy Connors in the semi-finals, Cash defeated the World Number 1, Ivan Lendl, in the final. He sealed the victory by climbing into the stands and up to the player's box at Centre Court, where he celebrated with his family. This started a Wimbledon tradition that has been followed by many other champions at Wimbledon ever since. This large photograph was signed at a sporting dinner in May 2009 and is presented in excellent condition. A great item of Pat Cash and Wimbledon Memorabilia. Good Condition.
