Albert Carrier Belleuse (French, 1824-1887). A pair of bronze figures, 'Danseurs Napolitains', each dancing, one with a tambourine, the other a mandolin, signed in the bronze, 17.5cm high Both with a slightly matted mid brown patination and slightly rubbed at the raised extremities, string on the mandolin is broken, this may be intentional, bells of the tambourine are cleverly cast loose from the main body, overall fair to good condition.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. Kyser and Rex, United States. Cast iron and pigment "Organ" mechanical bank, ca. 1882. With a monkey flanked by two dancing figures atop the bank. To operate the bank, a coin is placed on the monkey's tambourine, then the handle along the left side of the bank is cranked, and a bell is chimed as the monkey is set in motion and the coin is deposited into the bank.Height: 7 1/2 in x width: 6 in x depth: 3 1/2 in.Condition: The colors have faded and are missing in some areas. Key not included. The crank moves and works well. Some tarnishing or discoloration to the metal. Inside of the bank has not been inspected.

A worn and slightly damaged tambourine used on the recording of Hey Jude, together with a Limited Edition picture disc of Abbey Road, framed & glazed, plus the disc's slightly worn sleeve. Provenance: Consigned by the vendor of John Lennon's teal blue Nehru jacket, which sold in these salerooms for £7,000 [plus buyer's premium] on 22 August 2013. The picture disc, tambourine and jacket were gifted to our vendor as a birthday present by Jo Jo Johns [PA for The Beatles] after clearing Lennon's house, Tittenhurst Park, when he moved to the US in 1971.
