November with two stable hairlines, one flat rim chip. Sprig with substantial crack. December mug with stable flat rim chips to glaze, internal firing manufacturing blemish. One alphabet mug with starline crack, another with one or two glaze imperfections affecting the print. Cat alphabet plate with flat rim chip to verso, portion of surrounding area with highly competent restoration, displaying well. Q plate with hairline.

A Gladstone Pottery Museum commemorative pot, with inscription ' The 300 year old tradition of firing ware in coal-fired bottle ovens died out in the potteries a generation ago, In August 1978 the process was revived for the last time in a firing organised by Gladstone Pottery Museum at Sunderland works, Longton. This pot made from Staffordshire clay was fired there and is therefore one of the very last to be fired by traditional methods, in a bottle oven, in Stoke-On-Trent.

Masonic interest, a Sunderland lustre pottery jug decorated with transfer printed Masonic vignettes including Upon My Honour banner, Amicitia More Veritas banner etc. 13.5cm tall, and a J Jamieson blue and white Bosphorus pattern jug further painted with Masonic devices, 'Hugh & Mary Wylie' and verse 'A Little Health, A Little Wealth....', 18cm tall, a 19th century transfer printed purple and white Masonic dish in the Millennium pattern and a set of four Ye Corporation O' Square Men plates. Masonic interest, a Sunderland lustre pottery jug decorated with Masonic vignettes including Gardener's Arms, and Masonic devices, 21cm tall. The edge and spout is nibbled. There is a hairline crack to the interior. There are at least three hairline cracks visible to the body. There is a gouge to the foot rim. There is a large gouge to the body. There is a firing error to the bottom of the spout where it joins the body.
Masonic interest, a Sunderland lustre pottery jug decorated with Masonic devices including compass, scales, torches, beehive, sun, moon, trowel, bell etc. personalised 'Hendray Watson Arbuthnet', and with crest 'Smiths Arms' having motto ;By Hammar and Hand all Arts do Stand', 20cm tall. There is a glaze error with frits and crazing to the body. There is wear to the handle. There are no obvious signs of restoration with stains and marks to the interior.
A documentary Sunderland creamware mug 1825, probably Phillips, North Hylton Pottery inscribed in black 'Michael (47) & Elizabeth (50) Soulsby, Blest be the Lord, That sent his son, To take our flesh and blood, He for our lives gave up, His own to bring us safe to God, 1825' within a floral wreath border, the underside inscribed 'Easington lane', 15cms.*Easington Lane is a village in the borough of Sunderland.
A large Sunderland creamware splash lustre jug, probably Dawson's Low Ford pottery, circa 1820, printed and enamelled with 'A West View of the Iron Bridge at Sunderland' and a verse 'Here's to the wind that blows.....', the other side 'From hence in the deep, May divisions be tost, And prudence recover, What folly has lost', 22cms high.
