A late 19th century open arm sofa by Howard & Sons of London - the upright buttoned back, padded arms and seat later upholstered in olive green velour, the straight arms on turned walnut supports, the underside of the seat with the classic Howard centre bar, raised on turned walnut front legs and swept square back legs with brass 'Howard & Sons London' stamped castors, the back right leg with stamped no. '1073 3624', approx. 158cm long, 78.5cm deep, 75.5cm high.
