Pelé hat-trick match ball from the Cosmos v Los Angeles Aztecs match 26th June 1977, THE BALL WITH A FULL SIGNATURE OF PELE WITH A PERSONALISED DEDICATION PARA O AMIGO, CHARLES, AMIGO [MARTINELLI], a French manufactured Adidas Official NASL soccer ball bearing the facsimile signature of Commissioner Phil Woosnam, the pentagon panels with white outlined red stars on a blue background.As Pele's last full year of football was coming to an end he began performing at ever greater levels seemingly determined to leave the game whilst still at the peak of his powers, On 26th June 1977 Pele scored a hat-trick during the 5-2 win over Elton John's team Los Angeles Aztecs. The other Cosmos scorers were Ramon Mifflin and Vito Dimitrijevic. Pele's leadership and inspiration was evident as he orchestrated wave after wave of attacks upon a beleaguered Aztecs defence. The capacity crowd cheered throughout the high adrenalin game.Provenance: The Charles Martinelli Collection. Pelé match-worn green New York Cosmos No.10 shirt from the pre-season game v Seattle Sounders in the first sporting event held in the Kingdome, Seattle, 9th April 1976, in Aertex, short-sleeved with gold collar & cuffs, numbered 10 to right sleeve and the reverse which is also lettered PELE.A crowd of 58,128 attended this match, reportedly setting a record crowd for a US soccer match. Cosmos won 3-1 and Pele scored two of the goals. The Kingdome, a massive concrete structure, had officially opened 13 days earlier.Provenance: The Charles Martinelli Collection. He performed at an extraordinary high level of energy and sheer class and propelled his team-mates to their own high levels of performance simultaneously. In this match Pele scored tormented the opposition defence with an awesome display and scored all three goals in the Cosmos 3-0 victory before a full house at the Giants Stadium. The Fort Lauderdale goalkeeper beaten three times that day was England's Gordon Banks who at the 1970 World Cup had denied Pele with a wonder save from the Brazilian's header.Provenance: The Charles Martinelli Collection. A QUANTITY OF ASSORTED SUBBUTEO ITEMS, majority are boxed heavyweight teams which have been repainted into various strips including some fictional (and imaginative) ones but does include a fair likeness of the blue Admiral Coventry City strip from the late 1970's, also Plymouth, Blackpool, Walsall and Crystal Palace kits from the same era, majority of teams are complete, (but some players have different colour bases) with keeper and have an extra outfield player included in the box, some players are broken off bases and many look to have been repaired, boxes all with interiors but have hole cut for extra player and have damage, marking and wear with writing and Dymotapes to lids and bases, but does include a worn Team Holder red box, a small quantity of boxed and unboxed accessories, including boxed Photographers, Trainer and Manager set, No.C104, unboxed Rugby Posts and Crummer etc., with a homemade Football Express style Five-a-Side pitch which has some damage, marking and wear, with a complete set of the Cleveland Petrol Joe Mercer Great Britain Soccer Squad 1971 plastic busts with the display stand, busts are all in fairly good condition, stand has some minor damage and wear, many of the players name labels have become creased & worn and are becoming unstuck (2 boxes and pitch)

NEYMAR DA SILVA 2016 OLYMPIC GAMES PARTICIPATION MEDAL A Neymar da Silva Santos Junior (Neymar Jr) Participation Medal from the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil. Neymar was a member of the Brazilian Olympic Team as a member of the Men's Soccer Squad that would go on to win the gold medal. Neymar scored the winning penalty kick to capture Brazils first ever gold medal in soccer, defeating Germany 5-4 on penalty kicks in a match that ended 1-1 after extra-time. A truly remarkable occasion from Brazils biggest name on home soil. This official Olympic Participation Medal was presented to Neymar by the Olympic Organizing Committee and collected from the squad's Olympic training base in Goiania by team staff. The medal is contained in a folding booklet which is contained in a sliding cardboard cover. The International Olympic Committee provides all participants with a participation medal during the Olympic Games. These participation medals differ from the medals awarded for success in each athletes respective competition. This medal comes directly from within the CBF traveling party to the Olympic Games in 2016 together with a COA.
