Chiparus of a young female dancer wearing an elaborate beaded costume and skull cap posing on one foot, upon a brown marble base mounted with three silvered and gilt plaques each depicting dancers, 40cm high, signature on marble.

An Italian barbute. Milan, circa 1460-70. One-piece hammered skull in typical form with raised central ridge. T-shaped facial opening with a sevenfold riveted reinforcement strip. Square turned over edge. Continuous lining rivets, two lateral holes on each side. On the right three marks "AM" (Antonio Missaglia). Conspicuous corrosion traces. the inside uncleaned. Small damage spots at the back, in the neck guard two larger areas. Height 26 cm. Of extreme rarity. €38,000.00

A closed boy's tournament helmet. German, circa 1580. One-piece skull with raised comb. Two-part pivoted visor with lockbar, the left half with breathing slits, the right with a hinged flap. Bevor and continuous throat bulge with old repaired areas. The interior painted with orange protective lacquer. Assembled of old parts, visor bolts renewed. Height 22 cm. The heavy, single-piece skull with typical stalk in the apex and brim with turned under and roped edge, the entire surface covered with a finely engraved decoration of ribbons, vines and trophies (partly faded). One-piece skull rising to a high roped comb, the entire surface deeply blued and with high-quality etchings of trophies in the upper part as well as an eagle in each medallion. Lining rivets with brass washers. Turned under and roped edges. The rear point of the brim was repaired in the past, the plume socket is missing. Height 30 cm. A blackened Officer's lobster-tailed burgonet. German or Flemish around 1630. One-piece skull with 24 ridges and brass rivet decorations. An Illyrian type bronze helmet. mid 6th-4th century. Heavy one-piece bronze skull with short right-angled neck guard and lightly curved cheek pieces. Damage in the area of the upper forehead and right side of the neck. Several old repairs of corroded copper around the face cutout and on the right cheek piece.
