A Regency blond tortoiseshell and mother of pearl tea caddy, of sarcophagus form, with floral inlaid decoration and ivory banded inner lids and ball feet, 20cm wide, 12cm deep, 15.5cm high. CITES Submission reference M4N6SQVN Overall in good condition, some slight raising of the pewter stringing towards the back left corner of the lid, no key present for lock, small chipping to the ivory banding around the top, internal silvering now replaced with silver paint, some losses to the original papering to the underside but essentially good order.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
