The sheet appears to be free of losses, tears or creasing. There is some brown staining which is likely caused by the backing behind the sheet (see images). This staining does not appear to have extended into the print area itself but is present to the edges and margin. The colours are crisp and well preserved, no obvious deterioration.

Liffey.) impressed naming, name of ship officially re-impressed, good very fine £70-£90 --- Maurice Vaile was born in Westbury on Severn, Gloucestershire, on 28 September 1856, and joined the Royal Navy as Boy 2nd Class on 1 January 1873. Advanced Ship’s Corporal 1st Class in H.M.S. Minotaur on 1 June 1889, he witnessed later service aboard Bacchante, Boadicea, Cossack and the drill ship H.M.S. Eagle from 1 July 1892 to 11 April 1894. His Service Record intriguingly states: ‘Removed from ‘Eagle’: Not to be again employed on recruiting duties.’ Vaile served in H.M.S. Liffey from 6 November 1894 to 28 January 1898, and was awarded his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal on 12 January 1898. He was shore pensioned on 6 April 1898. Sold with copied service records.

Cpl. 1 R.F.R.); Defence Medal, mounted for display in this order, nearly very fine and better (6) £240-£280 --- Charles Edward Champion was born in Nottingham on 12 May 1877 and joined the Royal Navy as a Boy Second Class on 14 August 1892. Posted to H.M.S. Theseus on 14 January 1896, he was promoted Able Seaman on 1 March 1897 and served in Theseus during the operations against Chief Overiami at Benin City from 6 February 1897. Shore discharged, by purchase, on 19 October 1898, he joined the Royal Fleet Reserve on 12 September 1902, and re-enrolled in October 1911. Recalled for War service on 2 August 1914, he served during the Great War in a variety of ships and shore based establishments, and was promoted Ship’s Corporal on 13 May 1918. He was finally demobilised on 18 April 1919.

Falmouth just before the War and served aboard the Battleship H.M.S Africa from April 1914 to November 1918, the group comprising, China Medal 1900, no clasp, (J. Monteith. Sto. H.M.S. Isis), 1914-1920 British War Medal, (286949 J. Monteith. Sh. Cpl.1. R.N.), Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, GVR, (286949. John Monteith. Sh. Corp. 1Cl. H.M.S. Falmouth), toned very fine (3)John Monteith was born on Christmas Day 1876, in Fife in Scotland, he joined the Royal Navy on the 10th of January 1898 stating that he was a Butcher by trade. He served aboard H.M.S. Isis from the 10th of July 1898 until the 18th of January 1902. He Served aboard H.M.S. Falmouth from September 1911 until June 1913 and during the Great War served from April 1914 to November 1918 aboard the Battleship H.M.S. Africa. He is entitled to a 1914-15 Star and Victory Medal, Sold with photograph of H.M.S. Falmouth, Copy Service Papers, Copy China Medal Roll, copy Great War Medal Roll confirming a 1914-15 Trio.

India which was Torpedoed by U-22 comprising, Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, EViiR, (A.F. Eade. Sh. Corpl. 1 Cl. H.M.S. Queen.), very fine (1) Long Service and Good Conduct Medal 29th November 1904. Having been through every Eade with ADM 188 papers, and the man, Aldred Freddy Eade is the ONLY A.F. Eade among them. (There are other As or Fs but he's the only A.F.) Alfred Freddy Eade. Alfred joined the Royal Navy on the 1st of November 1889 he was born in Clacton on the 10th of November 1871. He is serving abord He's on H.M.S. Queen in 1904 at the time of him completing 15 years' service and receiving his LS&GC.;He appears in the War Office Casualty List of 8th Aug 1915 as 'Saved' when HMS India was torpedoed and sunk off Heligvaer Island near Bodo, Norway, by U-22 (Bruno Hoppe). She'd stopped to investigate a suspected blockade-runner. The surviving 22 Officers and 119 ratings were taken to Narvik by the steamer Godland and HMT Trawler Saxon. Alfred Died on the 16th of December 1954.Sold with Copy Service Papers, Royal Navy List, Copy Casualty Roll and Copy Probate.

FAY RIPLEY. A Diane Von Furstenberg belted black and floral dress UK10. This Diane Von Furstenburg cocktail dress was a Cold Feet costume for a party scene at Adams Batchelor pad. I needed freedom of movement not only for some dance moves but also to sh** Pete in the toilet. It is however a figure hugging dress of dreams, so I opted for a hoist and a sturdy gusset.
