The BEL unit was purchased, second-hand, from another source at the same time.All items then had light home use by the vendor 1993-2000.

Serial number: A96989 which dates it 1915. with Patent adjustable "screw grip" with fixed housing reel fitting (PAT. No. 14137), original cork handle (A/F). 9 1/2' long and comes with an old canvas bag (A/F). The rod has the black inscription spiraling around the shaft 'The 'Halford', 'Palakona' and 'Regd Trade Mark'.
