An oak cantilever Haberdashery box dating from the early 20th Century, used as a countertop display in a shop to sell Clark''s ''Anchor'' stranded cotton. The box has four cantilevered sections and a hinged glazed lid. The front is inscribed in gilt ''Clark''s Anchor Stranded Cotton for Embroidery'' along with an oak cotton reel box for the sale and promotion of Dewhurst''s ''Sylko'' machine twist cotton. Allcock's Big Game Reel - Allcock-Bell 6" alloy reel with oversized brass brake lever, large knurled brake drum screw, twin black handles, Bickerdyke line guide, brass foot and lever ratchet to backplate and stamped with makers details and Stag Logo, boxed. Note - The reel was designed in conjunction with A.F. Bell the famous Tope angler and honorary secretary of the British Sea Anglers Society.
