Late 18th century oak 8-day longcase clock, with a swan necked pediment and brass paterie, break arch hood door flanked by detached reeded pilasters, trunk with recessed quarter pillars and a long flat topped door, on a square plinth with canted corners, early painted dial with Arabic numerals and floral decoration to the arch and spandrels, with stamped brass hands and date recorder, weight driven two train movement with baluster movement pillars and an internal countwheel strike (bell missing). 1940 British Air Defense: a glass goblet of large size engraved with five fighter planes flying over aerodrome buildings, monogrammed F and dated 1940, 303mm(commemorative, pottery, naval, military, war) * By repute presented to Flying Officer Edward Graham Fowler on the occasion of his marriage to Dorothy Anne, presumably in 1940. At 13.37 on 12th February 1942 aged 30 years he with others was scrambled from RAF Waddington to the North Sea were, following an encounter with the German warships Prinz Eugen, Scharnhorst and Gneisnau, four of the party were reported missing believed killed. His name is recorder on panel 66 at the Runnymede Memorial.
