An Art Deco walnut chest of drawers, the rectangular top above four long drawers with ivorine handles, raised on a plinth base83 x 71 x 41cmThere are several abraisions to the edges of the chest of drawers, There is a deep scratch/dent across the top drawer and several lighter ones across the top and one on the bottom drawer. Rocks slightly on its base but is in overall reasonable condition and strutually strong. There is also some raised marks on the top where it appears the varnish has cracked in a web-like fashion and dampness has caused it to raise. Please refer to the photos for further details. § Charles Vyse (1882-1971), The Daffodil Seller, 1924, a polychrome glazed earthenware Chelsea figure, the female figure modelled standing and holding a bunch of yellow daffodils, a basket of yellow and whites beside her along with some tulips, raised on integral plinth base, painted marks to underside25cm highA number of small chips and losses to flower heads in both the bouquet in her hand and the bunches in the basket. A hairline crack running approximately 2cm through the undersid eof the base, up the plinth edge and in to the back of the basket (not visible in basket). Some all over fine crazing.
Lalique, a collection of five cendriers, to include three frosted and polished dishes in the Les Deux Cygnes pattern, each modelled to the centre with two swans, etched marks to underside, 8.5 x 10cm; a polished glass pin dish modelled to the centre with a cockerel, etched marks to underside, 10 x 10cm; Thalie, a polished and frosted glass cendrier centrally modelled with dove in flight, etched marks to underside, 9.5 x 10cm; together with Floreal, a Lalique frosted glass figurine of a kneeling maiden, mounted to black glass plinth base, etched marks to rim, 7cm high (6)All six pieces are in good condition, free from damage or repair.
