Ca. AD 100 - 300. A charming cast silver-copper pin used to secure hair with a lengthy, slender shaft and a standing eagle finial with folded wings. The bird has nice feather details impressed into the surface. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1883,0509.2. Size: 85mm x 15mm; Weight: 10g Provenance: Property of a European collector; formerly in the famous Alison Barker collection, a retired London barrister; acquired between the early1960s to 1990s.
Ca. AD 500 - 600. A Merovingian silver gilt brooch in the shape of a disc. The brooch is composed of an outer border in the shape of a flower, with a central red garnet cabochon. The centre is surrounded by a geometric motif and four red garnet cabochons. The back of the brooch contains a pin and hinge clasp. Size: 30-30mm x 30-30mm; Weight: 19g Provenance: Private London collection, acquired on the US art market; Ex. NYC collection; Ex. F. F., NYC. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
Ca. 2500 - 1700 BC . A bronze pin with a gold ram finial at the top. The ram is rendered in a naturalistic manner, featuring long hair covering the body, long curved horns, and an elongated muzzle. Size: 90mm x 20mm; Weight: 22g Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014, acquired in 2010 from a UK private collection formed in the 1970s to 1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
Badge of the Artillery Command of the Kraków Army. A round badge featuring an eagle in a crown with a cross, placed on a stylized wreath with a ring, bearing the inscription: "PAMIĘCI PIERW WALK I PRAC PIERW ARTYL PIERW N.DOW KRAKÓW". The pin has been removed and replaced with a soldered needle. The badge is in very good condition, as shown in the photos.
Wzorowy Strzelec Badge WZ.53 the badge is a one-piece, enamelled design in the shape of a shield with crossed rifles. Above the rifles, the inscription "Wzorowy Strzelec" (Exemplary Shooter) is visible. On either side of the shield are two golden ears of wheat, with the entire design mounted on a cogwheel.The reverse is smooth, with a central mounting pin and a threaded nut from the State Mint. A British-style forage cap worn by a second lieutenant in the Polish Armed Forces in the West. On the side, a star is embroidered with bullion thread to indicate the rank of second lieutenant. The front features two Polish buttons made in the Middle East, along with a Polish Eagle wz.39, also made in the Middle East, attached to a pin. The overall condition is good, as shown in the photos. This is an original, unrestored piece from the era.
Polish patriotic pin featuring a white eagle on a red background, with the year "1945" above and two stars on either side. The pin has a soldered needle for attachment, measuring 47 mm in length. These pins were produced for Poles in Germany in 1945 and were used, among other things, by Guard Companies.Overall condition as shown in the pictures.

All stones appear to be of uniform cut. Some chips/nibbles noted, some claws to setting would benefit to retipping.The pin sits securely, no obvious signs of repair. 9grams in weight. 2cm x 2cm approx.
